12. Sweet moments

Anirudh and Kavisha were looking at Sathish and Poorva and their love could be clearly seen. Kavisha gestured Anirudh to leave the room to give them some privacy. As they left the room, Kavisha asked Anirudh to inform his parents about Poorva's accident because when they arrived to the hospital nobody was in their senses and they didn't know about Poorva's condition so they didn't inform anybody. Anirudh was reluctant at first and finally he agreed to call them. Anirudh's mother was shocked but after knowing that Poorva was fine, she felt at bay. She insisted that she would come to take Poorva home but Anirudh assured that he would safely bring her home. After talking to his mother, he called his father and informed him about her accident. He immediately cancelled his meeting. He also insisted on coming to the but Anirudh told him to reach home as he would bring her home. As he finished the call he saw Kavisha was at the reception filling some form. He went and stood behind her, she was filling the consent form and the discharge form. She didn't notice Anirudh's presence. As she was filling the form the nurse asked her to fill the relationship status with the patient. She was filling the form on behalf of Anirudh to help him as he was busy on the call. She thought she would fill the form and then ask Anirudh to sign it. She was going to right brother in that column when suddenly Anirudh smiled and replied to the nurse

'She is her friend right now but she will soon be her family.'

Listening to his voice Kavisha's knees went weak. Her heart missed its beat. She was about to turn around to get Anirudh ahead so that he could sign the papers but before she could turn Anirudh closed the gap between them and placed his hand on the reception desk from either side of Kavisha and took the pen from Kavisha's hand and started signing the papers. Kavisha was caged between the reception desk and Anirudh's body. Shiver ran down her spine, nobody had been this close to her before. She could smell his cologne and she was paralyzed with his touch. Anirudh smirked looking at Kavisha's reaction to his slightest touch. He slowly leant his head on her shoulder and whispered

'I'm hungry lets get something to eat..' Kavisha suddenly was brought out of her haze. Her cheeks were on fire when Anirudh winked and started walking towards the hospital canteen. Kavisha couldn't stop blushing. She nervously followed him. Anirudh went near the counter and ordered two sandwiches and two coffees. Meanwhile Kavisha nervously entered the canteen and saw Anirudh placing an order so she went near a table and sat there. After a while, Anirudh took the order and searched for her. He placed the order on the table and sat in front of her

'Sorry the lunch time is over so could only get coffee and sandwiches. I hope you don't mind'

"No its perfectly alright. When we leave get something for Sathish to eat so that he can eat on our way. He must be hungry. Nurse said Poorva has already eaten'

'Okay we will get something parcelled when we finish'. They started eating. Anirudhg relaxed on his chair and in this process his leg touched Kavisha's feet. Both of them suddenly sat straight. Kavisha was so engrossed thinking about him, she didn't notice she added four cubes of sugar to her coffee. Anirudh curiously smiled at her and said

'Sweet persons shouldn't eat this much sugar..' Kavisha blushed profusely.. To distract him she said 'Poorva and Sathish didn't notice you in her room so she thinks you don't know about them. So let it be that way. Don't ask them anything right now. She is still tensed about the accident. She would panic knowing that you caught their secret. Its not good for her health right now.'

'Yes you are right, I will talk to Sathish afterwards'

They smiled at each other before they could talk again.

Sathish entered the canteen 'where have you both been?' 'Nurse said to fill the form so we filled it and were feeling hungry so we thought we would munch something. and you were there with her.. So we don't need to worry right?' Anirudh took a pause to check his reaction but then continued.

'We were planning to take parcel for you so you could eat on the way to our house.

'Hey thank Ani, but I already had my lunch so if you both are done, shall we leave?'

"Lets leave then, me and Kavisha will get her down, you get the car okay?'

'Okay I will get the car to the main entrance'

They all sat in the car. Sathish was driving the car, Anirudh sat in the passenger seat. Kavisha and Poorva shared the backseat.

The drive was silent as Anirudh glanced at Kavisha every now and then through the rear view mirror. Poorva noticed Kavisha and Anirudh glancing at each other. Sathish was looking at her through the rear view mirror. She gestured him to play the mp3 player. She knew it had all her favourite songs and Kavisha also loved those songs. Sathish played the songs and the first song started
