Hey guys!! Finally it's Anirudh and Kavisha's wedding!! Enjoy with us!!

At the wedding muhurtham
Kavisha was fully dressed in her red and cream color lehenga choli given by her mother in law. She was sitting in the green room of the wedding hall all alone her family members had gone downstairs to welcome the Baraat. She was not allowed to look at the baraat as it was considered bad for the bride to see her baraat but the sound when in it entered the venue didn't miss her ears.
She was struggling with the butterflies in her stomach with every passing second.
And suddenly her heart skipped a beat when her mamas came in to get her for the varmala.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breathe and started walking towards the door.
Every step she took she could visualize the rising bile inside her throat. She was nervous would be an sheer understatement. She was cold as ice. Just a few step and she would enter into a new life.
Finally she reached the door and she was handed a beautiful garland made with red, white roses and green leaves.
After she reached her mamas they all carried her towards the mandap in their arms.
As soon as they entered the hall all the chatter died down all eyes were on Kavisha. And she felt self conscious for second but then she looked at her parents and the look in their eyes told her that for them she was the most beautiful bride and then she didn't need anybody's approval over her looks.
Varmala
Soon they reached the mandap and after taking a round around Anirudh with both of their eyes closed, she stood opposite him with a white cotton cloth embedded with a swastik between them restricting view.
After the seven enchantings from the priest the cloth was removed and a loud sound of ulu(sound made by ladies at the time of auspicious occasion by twisting their tongues..popular in India) made by all the ladies in their families surrounded the hall.
Anirudh was lifted up by Gautham and Sathish and immediately Kavisha was also lifted up by her brother in law and cousin brother.
Obviously as Anirudh was taller then her she couldn't reach him. Anirudh winked at her and then he bent down a little and Kavisha blushed at it and slyly smiled at him and placed the garland around his neck. Everybody cheered in excitement and teased Anirudh for bending down in front of his bride but Anirudh laughed at it and then he followed her suit and placed the garland around her neck.
After they both got down from their brother's shoulder. Everybody cheered and congratulated them.
Kanyadanam
And then the priest called Kavisha's parents for Kanyadanam.
Kavisha stood between her father's arms and then the priest took Anirudh's palm and placed Kavisha's palm over it and asked Kavisha's father to place the betal leaf and flower over their hand and asked Kavisha's mother to slowly shower the holy water over it and with the holy enchantings Kavisha became Anirudh's better half.
After the kanyadanam Anirudh and Kavisha sat near the homam (holy fire/agni) and after the holy enchantings priest asked Anirudh to place the 'Thali' around Kavisha's neck and then asked him to fill Kavisha's forehead with vermilion.
Kavisha smiled when the cold vemilion touched her forehead and a little spilled over her nose. At which her grandma said
'Paare da.. Anirudh Kavisha mele evolo love vechirukan nu..Yarode kungumam vekekulle mooku mele koddutho avange rombe lucky.. yenna avangelode husband avangale rombe love pannuvarenu anthe kaalathu aitheegam'
Kavisha blushed at it and Anirudh winked at her.
After that the priest asked them to stand up and asked groom's sister Poorva to come forward and tie the loose end of Anirudh and Kavisha's attire to each other.
Saptapadi
After tying the priest started the holy enchantings with Anirudh and Kavisha walked around the holy fire hand in hand taking it as the prime witness (Agni satchi) for their 7 vows.
In the first four pheras Anirudh walked ahead and they both promised each other love and each other's company.
Then in the second phera both promised to respect each other and their decisions.
Third phera
Both promised to be loyal to each other.
Fourth phera
They promised to accompany each other in good as well as in bad times
In the next three pheras Kavisha walked ahead
In the fifth phera
Kavisha promised to take care of the household.
Anirudh promised to earn living for his family.
In the sixth phera
They took a oath to create a loving and caring household.
In the last and seventh phera
Both of them promised to give their offspring, good upbringing and values.
After completing the saptapadi the priest asked Anirudh to place the toe ring in her tow. After that he asked all the brother
After these rituals the priest announced the formal end of the wedding ceremony!!
Then Anirudh and Kavisha took blessings from all their elders.
