36. Parties & Presents!!

Anirudh was waiting outside Kavisha's house as they were leaving for studio. After about 5 minutes Kavisha arrived and waving a bye to her paatti inside the car.

As soon as as she sat Anirudh said

'Good morning!! So finally you graced me with your presence'

Kavisha glared at him and said

'ANI..you arrived 10 minutes early today..okay..so I wasn't late!'

Anirudh just nodded in agreement and started the car.

After they reached the main road Kavisha suddenly spoke

'Ani we must inform our colleagues about our engagement..right?'

Anirudh smiled at her and said

'Don't worry everything is been take care off. I asked Sathish to get some sweets on his way to work. And also we will take them for a lunch tomorrow, today they must have brought their lunch. So tomorrow treat to our colleagues okay..madam'

Saying this he gave her a salute.

Kavisha just smiled at him.

Kavisha was a bit nervous about her friend's reaction. She just wished that nobody treated her differently after knowing that she is marrying a popular singer and an amazing music director.

Until now nobody in their studio except Siddhart knew about their relation. Everybody knew that Kavisha was Poorva's best friend. So they thought that she had a good rapport with Anirudh and Sathish. And that's the reason she travels with Anirudh daily.

Kavisha was brought out of her thoughts when the car halted in front of their studio.

Anirudh and Kavisha got down and boarded the elevator.

As soon as the elevator door opened on their floor, all of their colleagues shouted

'SURPRISE'

And within matter of seconds both Anirudh and Kavisha were covered in glitter and snow spray.

Everybody gathered around them and started congratulating them for their engagement.

Finally Siddharth and Sathish found their way between all of their excited colleagues and reached Anirudh and Kavisha.

As sson as Sathish saw Anirudh,he raised his hands and surrender. Anirudh glared at him. But before both could speak Siddhart spoke.

'Congratulations Ani..congrats Kavi' saying this he hugged Anirudh. And then continued

'Ani...Sathish sir didn't inform them actually Lakshmi amma informed me and I was so excited that I announced it. Sorry!! I ruined your surprise.'

Kavisha immediately said

'Sid anna, don't be sorry!! You all are happy for us..that's what matters. And what differences does it make who informed. Only the news and sharing its happiness with others matters..right?'

Siddhart warmly smiled at her and turned towards Anirudh to know what his thoughts were and was happy when he gave him a reassuring smile.

After a little celebration and announcing about the lunch treat for the next day, everybody was back to their places.

At lunch time, Kavisha was waiting for Anirudh. Everyday Anirudh would be the one calling everyone for lunch but today it was way past lunch time and still he wasn't out of his cabin. And Kavisha knew there wasn't lunch that much work that he needed to skip his lunch. Finally after waiting for 15 minutes Kavisha knocked on Anirudh's cabin door.
