That night they kissed, but nothing more. Although she was showing good signs, Holly had a feeling that Allison wasn't really that into it. She stayed at Allison's house until she was feeling better enough to be by herself, and by the time Saturday came it was time for her to leave.

"Thanks for everything, I don't know what I would've done without you." Holly said thankfully as they pulled up outside of her apartment.

"Anything for you, I'm just glad you're okay. You know, you could've stayed the extra night."

Holly smiled and gave her a hug.

"See you in class on Monday."

"Can't wait."

She got her things from the back seat and waved as Allison sped off into the distance. Here she was, alone in her apartment again. She turned the key in the door but it was a little stiff due to the bad weather so she had to push my way in. The pain from her ribs was still proving too much for her, but she soldiered on anyways and went inside.
She called Elliot after taking a shower and he agreed to head over to the house and see her. She settled herself on the sofa and flicked through the TV channels, hoping that for once there would be something worth watching. In the end, she settled for a show about paranormal activities. She had no doubt that she believed in ghosts but these type of shows made her cringe so badly. They were always staged.

"Hey Holly, you home?" She heard someone call out in the hallway. It was Elliot.

"In here."

He came through into the living room and dived at her for a hug.

"Whoa, please be careful. I'm still sore."

"Oh shit..sorry." he replied, laughing nervously. "How are you feeling?"

"A little better, I'm still sore but I guess that's to be expected. I just can't wait to get back to normal and go back to school. Anything happened while I was away?"

Elliot made himself comfortable on the sofa. "Same old..you're the talk of  the school actually. Did you call the principal?"

"Oh great, that;s all i need. What are they saying? Is it bad? Yeah I talked to him, he was totally fine with it."

"Well the principal excluded the girls who beat you up. Apparently Josh had seen it happen too so he was able to provide names for the girls that ran off before the principal could catch them."

"Josh? Who's that?"

"The school grass, he tells on everyone. He seems pretty cool though. Hey, Miss Laine hasn't been in school this week either."

She cleared her throat, trying to act cool. "Oh, really? Does anyone know why?"

"Family problems or something. Although, I was beginning to think you had run away together."

She smacked him on the arm and laughed nervously. "Yeah right. Unfortunately that didn't happen and I'm still here."

She wondered whether or not she should tell Elliot that Allison had been the one to take her to the hospital. After all, that wasn't exactly breaking the rules...was it?"

"Hey Ell, Miss Laine..she took me to the hospital afterwards."

Elliott's eyebrows raised and he bit his fist. "Really?! How did that happen?!"

"Her class was after lunch and I couldn't skip because I'm already falling behind. I tried to hide but it was just my luck that she wanted everyone to take turns answering stupid fucking questions on the board. She took me to the bathroom after I pleaded her to not take me the nurse and she ended up taking me to hospital."

"Holy shiiiiit. You're lucky no one saw you dude. So, have you kissed her yet?"

"Elliott quit it! She's my teacher, nothing else. Yeah I fancy her but whatever."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monday morning came around quickly and she almost flaked and skipped school. Aside from the fact she was still in huge amounts of pain and she looked worse than shit, she was dreading being in the same room as Allison and not being able to touch her.
Elliot saved her life and gave her a ride into school, talking her head off during the whole journey. When they got into the school gates, the whispers and stares began.

"Ignore them dude, they aren't worth it." he said, loud enough for everyone to hear.

Parting ways on the way to homeroom, Holly walked the long way and made a detour so she could see if Allison was in her classroom on the way past. Luckily, she was. Before she could stop herself, she was already in through the door.

"Hey."

"Good morning." she lowered her head and continued reading whatever was in front of her.

"Are you okay Alliso.."

She cut me off.

"It's Miss Laine. And yes I'm fine. Is there something I can help you with? Because if not they you should probably get going, the bell is going to ring any minute."

What the fuck was wrong with her and her attitude this morning?

"Have I done something, miss?" Holly spoke, sarcasm evident in her voice.

Once again, she repeated the same thing. "Is there something I can help you with?"

By now, Holly was beginning to get annoyed. She was being treated like a child. Losing her temper, she dropped her folder onto the desk in front of her, causing Allison to jump.

"What the hell?! Why are you being like this? What have I done wrong?"

"Do not use that tone of voice with me Miss Dean. Don't you have a tutor to be getting to?"

She screwed up her fist by her side and gritted her teeth. She really knew how to push her buttons. "Are you fucking kidding me? Did the other night mean nothing to you? I get it, I'm just a thrill for you, right? Does it excite you knowing you could get caught? Forget it, fuck you."

Holly kicked the chair that was underneath the table and headed for the door, leaving her folder behind on the desk. She had pain in her ribs but right now, she was too angry to even care. A chair scraped loudly across the floor behind her but she didn't even bother to turn around.

"HOLLIE! Wait.." Allison called as Holly walked out of her classroom, slamming the door shut behind me.
