This one is for you, Sappho. I hope wherever you are, you can see this.

In the blink of an eye, a 2 whole years had passed. Allison was still working at the school that she loved so much. Holly was at the bar, but now as a co-owner with Nikki. Both Zak & Johnathan had been discussing selling the bar for a while. They knew they were getting too old to be running a business that was so fast paced, but they wanted their legacy to continue the way it was. Nikki & Holly were popular with their customers, so they were an obvious choice to hand the business over to. The two women had been nervous, but with some encouragement from Zak and Johnathan they decided it was a great idea.

"Hey Holly, your kids running wild in here again. What the hell did you give her for breakfast? And where is your friend? He's going to make us later than you already have!" Nikkis voice rang out throught the hallway. She had one hand on the door frame, flicking her attention between the door at the end of the hallway and the toddler that was running riot in the empty bar.

"Hey. Dude! Can you hear me? This kid is destroying our place! Hurry up, we gotta go or you're going to be late! Alex is waiting for us in the car outside."

Just as Nikki finished speaking, Holly came crashing through the doorway, slamming the door behind her as she hurried down the hall.

"Whoa. Look at you." Nikki smirked. She took a moment to look at her best friend, then pressed her palms into the brunettes shoulders stopping her dead in her tracks. She looked at her for a couple more seconds, smiling and shaking her head.

"Dude. You look amazing."

Holly looked back at her best friend and shook her head slightly. She let out a huge sigh that she hadn't realised she had been holding in until now. Her hair was scraped back into a ponytail that was simple yet sophisticated. She was wearing tailor made dark checkered trousers, a white short sleeved shirt and a waistcoat that matched her pants.

"I'm nervous. I am so fucking nervous."

"Relax. You've got this."

"Nikki I feel like I'm going to throw up. My hands are shaking." Holly shoved her quivering hands into the redheads face. "See! I'm not lying. I'm shaking."

Nikki grabbed onto Hollys shoulders firmly and shook her slightly. "Stop. Ok. Stop this. This is the best day of your life, dude."

"But what if she changes her mind? What if I get there and she isnt there?"

Nikki laughed once more and rolled her eyes. "Are you insane? Allison is in love with you. She's crazy about you. I mean, it's actually kinda gross actually...." She trailed off. "BUT SHE LOVES YOU!" She shouted. "She wouldn't be marrying you if she wasn't in love with you."

Holly took another deep breath. Nikki was right. When she'd asked Allison to marry her, she never imagined she would say yes. She was always worried that something was going to happen that would take Allison away from her. Her life over the last few years had been like living in a dream, and she was sure that one day she'd wake up and none of it would have ever happened. But of course, her best friend was always right. Allison had been ecstatic when Holly got down on one knee and popped the question. She had to accept that this was her life. She was living her dream life, and no one was going to take that away from her.

She nodded her head. "It's time to go."

"I've been telling you that for the last half hour you asshole." Nikki threw her hands into the air. "Now get your little germ machine and lets go!"

"Don't listen to Aunty Nikki!" Holly shouted, chasing the toddler for a short while before catching up to her and scooping her up into her arms.

Just as she was out of the door, she turned the corner to head towards Alex's car with the toddler wriggling in her arms. She flung open the door and strapped the little girl into the car seat after a short struggle. The toddler twined and kicked her legs. Holly laughed, she was her Allisons daughter alright.
After closing the car door, she took another deep breath. She still couldn't believe the day was here. She was brought back to reality by a small tap on her shoulder. She turned around and smiled.
