After the shower, the two of them changed into their clothes and got ready for bed. They had stood holding each other in silence in the shower, neither of them wanting to let go. Holly had gone downstairs to get a drink and when she got back to the bedroom, she found Allison was laying on her side, facing away from the door.
She got in beside her quietly, turning off the lamp on the bedside table.
"Allison?" She whispered.
But she was already asleep.
Holly pulled the cover around her, and wrapped her arm around the blonde like she did every night. She kissed the older womans shoulder and let her hand rest gently on her stomach.
"I love both of you."

In the morning, Allison wasn't there when the brunette woke up. She stretched out across the bed, yawning and rubbing her eyes. Just then, she heard footsteps across the hallway and Allison appeared in the doorway holding a glass of juice and a plate.
"Oh, so you're awake then?" She asked, setting the food down on the side.
"Good morning to you to. What time is it?"
"10:45. But there's nothing planned so I didn't wanna wake you."
Holly patted the empty space on the bed beside her, and Allison sat down next to her.
"Sleep well?" Holly asked her, pulling her down so that the two of them were laying side by side.
"Not too bad. But I still feel sick."
"Well at least now we know it's nothing serious, yeah?" Holly laughed gently, giving the blonde a reassuring smile. She didn't smile back.
"Yeah." Allison mumbled.
Holly changed her position so she was now sitting with her back against the headboard. She signed out of frustration. "Look, Allison. We can't change what happened, and I know this is partly my fault. But can we at least try and see the good in this?"
"I'm scared. Really really scared." She said, sitting up next to her and resting her head on Hollys shoulder.
"I know, okay? But you've got me, and I've got you. We can do this. We can."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 months later, it was finally it was time for Allison to go back to work. She was scared, terrified in fact. Her stomach churned as waves of nausea washed over her. She had to admit, she was glad to be going back. She had missed being a teacher. Putting a hand on her stomach, she sighed gently as she watched out of the car window. She was almost 4 months pregant but had not yet started to show. She was thankful that she still had at least a little more time to work out how she was going to explain it to the principal.
"You'll be fine. Trust me. Call me on your lunch break okay? I love you." Holly brought her out of her thoughts and back to reality. They were parked outside of the school, and it was time for Allison to leave the car. She looked over at Holly and gave her a gentle smile before giving her a goodbye kiss.
"I will I love you too. I'll see you tonight."
She got out of the car and straightened her shirt before heading to the main enterance. Her laptop bag was hanging from her shoulder. It was scary being back here after so long, but at the same time she felt like she'd never really been away at all.
After clocking in, she took the same journey down the hallways that she had taken 2 years ago when she first started her job. All of the students that were in the same grade as Holly had now left and were on to other things like college, or university. She let out a sigh of relief at that thought. None of the students would be there to judge her. She wasn't sure how many of their classmates Elliot had told after Holly had left to go back home to England. After arriving at her old classroom she took a deep breath before opening the door. Inside, the room was exactly the same as she had remembered. All the memories of meeting holly for the first time came flooding back. She sat down at the desk and began to daydream.
Allison remembered the young brunette walking through the door with Elliott on the first day of term. How she had so bravely stood up In front of a class full of people she didn't know, and how she had told them all about her life. That was one of the things that Allison would always remember about her. She had been so brave to do that.
She ran her fingertips across the desktop, the place where the two of them had sat during detention when Allison made Holly grade papers for her. That was the day the two of them shared their first kiss. It was clumsy, and so so risky looking back on it now. Allison smirked as she remembered how nervous Holly would get around her. Even looking at the brunette would make her tense up.
The school bell rang and she was brought out of herdaydream. Soon after, students began flooding through the door. She had recognised a few of them as they were first year students when she began her job. Some of them even recognised her, giving her a quick hello and flashing a smile. After greeting them and asking how they had been, it was time to start teaching,
"Okay class! Now I know you've had different teachers but now I'm back. So, let's get on with the lesson, shall we?"
