UNEDITED
A/N- I'm writing this about a year after this book has been finished, AND IF ONE MORE PERSON GIVES ME SHIT ABOUT USING BRALLON INSTEAD OF RYDEN I SWEAR TO GOD IT WILL NOT BE PRETTY. Everyone has preferences, accept it and move on. If it bothers you that much, then just stop reading this fic. I'm sorry I try to be so patient but it's been over a year and it's still happening.
I gulped as the three guys kept walking towards us. Frick, what did Tyler say their names were? Jared, Brandon, and Peter? No, that's not right...
"Hey guys, what's up?" Tyler shouted back with a wave and a grin. They finally reached us and the four of them proceeded to exchange those weird bro hugs that I never really like but do anyways.
"This is Josh Dun, my new neighbor, he moved from LA over the summer. Josh, this is Jack, Brendon, and Patrick." He pointed to each person as he said their name.
I reached out and shook their hands, but when I got to Brendon he looked me dead in the eyes and said, "Nice jacket, asshole." My eyes widened, what did I do wrong?! Jack reached over and smacked the back of his head.
"Be nice, Bren! You can't just do that when you first meet someone!"
"Ow! I take it back, you're the asshole," he turned back to face me with a grin full of white teeth, "I'm just kidding man, it's good to meet you." He said with a chuckle. I just let out small laugh, not really knowing what to say.
Patrick was the next to speak or rather talk quietly in my ear, "Just stick with Tyler and I, those two over there will cause you nothing but trouble."
He looked over to where Brendon and Jack were still fighting over the fact that Jack had smacked him. Brendon was trying to get Jack in a headlock, but he kept dodging him and cracking your mom jokes.
"I'll make sure to remember that." I said back with a smile. I feel like once I get used to the other two guys I'll like them, but for right now I think I will mainly stick with Patrick and Tyler. They're just more comfortable to be around at the moment.
I will say though, once I get comfortable around these guys, I'll probably be over with Jack and Brendon shouting and causing trouble. That's the only reason the few people talked to me in LA. I can be fun and loud. I can be a freaking delight, why did I not have more friends?
I was shaken from my thoughts by Jack grabbing my shoulders and hiding behind me.
"Ha, now you can't get me, you wouldn't bother the new guy, would you Beebo?"
"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that, Jack?" Brendon said exasperatedly.
"You let Dallon!" A faint blush spread across Brendon's cheeks.
"That's different..."
"Come on you guys," Patrick interrupted, "school starts in fifteen minutes and we still need to go get our schedules."
We all followed the little guy into the school building, he and Tyler started talking animatedly about some movie, and meanwhile Brendon and Jack were having a shoving match behind me. I like the guys so far; I just hope the feeling is mutual.
We all got our schedules, and thank God I had each class with at least one of them. The only periods we all had together were music and lunch. I had first period with Brendon, so we said good-bye to the others for now before making our way to the English class.
"So why'd you move from LA? If you're cool with me asking." Brendon spoke.
"Nah, it's fine. My parents grew up here and always wanted to move back. My dad finally got the chance, so here we are."
