UNEDITED
A/N- I'm already at 500+ reads!! When I checked around 3 yesterday it was at 470 or somewhere in there and now its at 550 or so, like holy crap you guys are the best! Thank you all so so so much!! Also, the pic is Josh and Brendon while they're going down the hallway later in the chapter :)
I ran up the steps to Tyler's room. I was supposed to be here ten minutes ago, but last night I got distracted by dyeing my hair, so I forgot to set my alarm. I heard voices coming from Tyler's room, so I knew the others were already here. I burst through the door.
"Sorry I'm late! I forgot to set my alarm last night."
"Its cool man, it's not like you'll get in trouble or anything. Nice hair by the way, it makes me think of grape kool-aid." Jack answered.
I uttered thanks while running my hand through my hair; it had gotten a bit messed up when I ran over here. "So, are we ready to go?" Brendon asked.
"Let's do it." Patrick and I said at the same time. We looked at eachother and high-fived without saying a word. Picking up where we left off, we started to work on the rest of our song.
It was coming together nicely, and we were all very proud. It only took a couple hours for us to finish recording, Tyler was just going to do a little bit of editing and then the song was complete.
I almost faked being sick so I wouldn't have to go to school the next day; I didn't know what Brendon had planned, but I knew I wouldn't like it. The grin he gave me when he said "see you tomorrow, Dun," was worthy of the devil. When we met up with everyone in the parking lot, he made me carry his bag into the building, which wasn't that bad.
However, when we actually got inside, Brendon made me carry him. He clung to the front of me like a koala. My face was fire truck red the whole walk down the hallway. He hopped down once we reached the door of our classroom.
During class, he made us sit in the back corner so he could draw all over my arm in sharpie without getting in trouble. There were dicks, cats, compliments about him, every curse word he could think of, and a few random squiggles. He told me I wasn't allowed to wash any of it off until the end of the day.
After class was out, he bridal carried me to my next class. He was cooing and talking to me like a baby, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow the both of us, but I had no such luck. He walked into the room, dropped me off by my desk, and pinched both of my cheeks and said "Have a good class, sweetie!" in a high-pitched voice before leaving the room. As I sat down, Patrick started laughing at me; I mumbled "shut up Pat," before dropping my head down on my desk.
He stopped right away, "Don't call me Pat!"
"Then don't laugh at me." I reached up and flicked the brim of his fedora, making it sit up higher on his head. He sighed, fixed his hat, and turned to Pete who had just sat down on the other side of him. Thankfully, I wouldn't have to deal with Brendon again until lunch.
I was walking down the hallway towards the cafeteria when I heard the devil himself shout at me from behind me.
"Ohhhh Joshy Boo! Wait for me, I packed your lunch for you sweetie!" I turned around to glare at Brendon as he worked his way through the crowd of students trying to get to me, cackling manically as he did so.
Once he reached me, he gave me a huge shit-eating grin. "How has your day been Boo? That's a nice name; I'm going to call you Boo now."
"I'd say go shut yourself in a locker, but you probably couldn't fit your gigantic forehead in one."
