Chapter 9 *_*

Drew's POV:

"Drew? Where were you the other day? I had to get a ride from Nathan." Natasha asked oblivious to my angry expression. I glance back and see Taylor yelling at Nathan. I hope things are going okay for her. I have a feeling that me and Natasha's break-up is going to be messy.

"I'm sure he gave you a goodbye kiss to go with that make-out session. I went to find you and instead found you sucking that leech's face off!" I yelled. She looked away refusing to look me in the eyes.

"Drew, he was all over ME! He told me he was sick of Taylor being a slutty little bitch and that I was going to lose you. So I got mad at you and Taylor and I let all my anger out by making out with the guy who's dating the girl your probably cheating on me with. He found my weakness. You." she said pleading me. I clapped my hands.

"Now I see why your in the drama club babe, your an amazing actor. But if our whole relationship is just a play to you then go play with Nathan. You two deserve each other." I said and before she could say anything I walked off to class leaving Natasha teary-eyed behind me.

Why can nothing go right? I HAD what I thought was a perfect girlfriend but she cheated and is now gone for the best. I'm in love with my bestfriend who is never going to give me the time of day. I walk into first period and slide in next to Taylor. She has her head down and I can see her sniffling.

"Hey Taylor, it's okay don't cry. He didn't deserve you. Your too good for any guy." I say lifting her head and wiping away her tears. I got up and walked over to her grabbing her in my arms. She fell against me crying into my chest. "Did he hurt you?" I ask whispering into her hair.

"No we had a clean break, it's just.... I can't believe he's gone. We're done." she cried.

"You know what? I'm taking you somewhere special." I said pulling her through the doors to the parking lot. She just stays under my arm clinging to my waist. She's never been one of those stuck up girls so she didn't protest against leaving school.

Taylor's POV:

"So where is this 'special place'?" I ask wiping tears from my eyes. I had calmed down by now but I still clung to Drew's side. I liked being here no matter how many times I told myself I shouldn't. We had been walking for miles and I was getting tired.

"Right......" he said walking through some trees. "Here" he said detaching himself from my grasp. I frowned and he smiled. Great that didn't give anything away at all. I looked around and sucked in my breath. It was a beautiful meadow filled with rainbows of colors. The trees surrounded the meadow making a spotlight on me and Drew.

"I was thinking we would do our survival project here. I could bring my truck in here and we could sleep in the back. We'd even be able to see the stars from here." he said sitting down grabbing a flower.

"Let's do it! It will be beautiful! I say sitting down next to him. He picked another one and placed it in my elastic.

"You look beautiful." he said. My dream flashed and I stared at him wide-eyed wishing for a kiss. "I-I mean the flower looks good in your uh- hair." he said looking away.

"Oh, uh-thanks." I said disappointed. We layed in the meadow for hours watching the sunset taking away our spotlight. If only this was a movie, then we'd be together by now.
