Soon after randhir bid goodbye to sanyukta, sanyukta walked inside the flat with a broad smile pasted across her face imagining things with randhir for her whole life. She, her family, her husband, her kids, her business. Everything seemed to fall in place. As she continued to envisage her whole life with randhir, her words when she was a kid in that orphanage came to her mind — I'd become rich some day and conquer the world — I'd have a family of my own. A small one but happy one. — She remembered those words which she swore for herself and thinking of them now, there was a proud smile on her face that she made them come true. And she silently wished for everything to be fine and good. Forever.
Soon moments rolled and the clock ticked eleven thirty in the midnight, she changed in to her night clothes and settled on the bed waiting for randhir, but she was too tired to be awake, and her eyes felt heavy. With every passing second, her eyelids began to droop and she began to slip into kip, it was then that her mobile sang loudly waking her up. She rubbed her eyes; picked up her mobile and the screen flashed 'raghu calling' she attended the call groggily
"Ha raghu bhol." She said casually
"Things aren't good here sanyukta, I think you must visit the office, it's really been very long" raghu said not even wishing her; there was a kind of tremble in his voice.
"Fine. Seven AM tomorrow." She cut short and hung up even when raghu was saying something else. As she disconnected the call, her screen flashed a message from randhir, she opened it and instantly her lips curved from ear to ear. She typed a text back to him placed her mobile aside and slipped into kip.
"Just couldn't wait anymore rain-deer. Come back soon. Drive safe. Love. San-yuck-tha" — was the text she had sent him, but it was not delivered.

Somewhere outside, on the Delhi roads, when the winter midnight wind was rattling the deserted roads of the city. randhir was still driving to parth's place. His black Bentley was in no condition to run in that chilled weather. So he pulled up in sanyukta's black Honda city car. As he was driving, his mobile buzzed with a text, he swiped the screen and opened it. It was a text from his mother conveying the date they fixed for his marriage with sanyukta, he forwarded the text to sanyukta, and kept his mobile on flight mode not even waiting for a second for her message.
Around eleven thirty randhir reached parth's apartment. He parked the car to the side of the road and walked inside, by the time randhir entered in parth's flat, parth was busy fixing pegs for both of them.
"parth bhai" randhir squeaked as soon as he saw parth.
"randhir...!" parth stood up and walked up to him engulfing him in warm boy hug. "Come sit" he ushered him to the couch in the living area. Randhir placed the car keys and his mobile on the table beside the huge glass window that gave a clear view of the road and settled on the couch. Whilst parth settled on the floor with his glass.
"What's up bhai... you called me this late." He said taking the glass that parth was about to hand him.
"How are you?" parth asked drinking from his glass.
"Safe, sane, happy. In love." Randhir simpered. But parth was in no mood to listen and comprehend what he actually was saying. He nodded mechanically
"I'm stuck randhir, I need your help." He said changing the course.
"kya hua bhai" randhir put the glass down and settled beside parth. On the floor.
"Remember? I told you a couple of times that I love a girl." Prath asked and randhir nodded thoughtfully.
