At seven in the evening, raghu picked her up and drove her to The Park Hotel in her Honda City car. Randhir was still at his office, so she texted him that she was out for some business meeting. And randhir too texted her back, that he'll be late as he has to meet parth and asked her to take care. Sanyukta smiled at the text and she swiped the screen to the left, locked her phone to flight mode, put it in her purse and placed it on the seat beside her. The whole ride was a continuoues battle between fear and confidence in her mind. She began to shudder whenever she rememberd the night when she met parth at Park Hotel, the night when parth revelead his true face to her, when the hell broke loose and sanyukta discovered that parth is the one behind her condition today. Half the way, she wanted to run away but it isn't her. It isn't the randhir's sanyukta. Randhir's sanyukta stood up for what she belived is true and fought evil. Today was just going to be another battle— she said to herself. Took deep breathe and steeled herself to face parth.
An hour later, they were in front of the park hotel. Raghu parked the car in the parking lot, helped her out, settle in the wheel chair, that sanyukta can herself steer. Sanyukta however forgot to pick up her purse that was lying beside her in the car.
"You sure about doing this?" raghu asked as they found themselves infront of the huge enterance of the park hotel.
"If not now, when?" sanyukta counter questioned and began to steer herself in.
"Sanyukta wait" raghu said.
"No. you stay here" she ordered him and steered herself in.
As she reached the restaurant arena, the boy there helped her to find the table which was reserved for them. She politely thanked the boy and steered toward the table that was at the corner of far other end of the huge hall. The table was poorly lit and can hardly be seen. As she began to steer herself she noticed parth sitting at the table fiddling with something in his hands. As she approached the table parth looked at her and smirked the most evil one. The sight of parth and that smirk on his face sent chills down her spine. "Be my official whore, I'll let you breathe in" his words reverberated in her ears and cold sweat broke on her forehead. The last time she saw him smirking that way she ended up here in the wheel chair as forever disabled. She wondered what will happen now. Come what may, she had to face it. So she wheeled forward towards him. Parth rose from the chair on seeing her.
"A warm welcome Sanyukta Agarwal... oops... sanyukta singh shekawat!" parth said handing her a boquet full of dried withered roses. Sanyukta clenched her jaws as she put the boquet aside and straightly jumped into the point.
"Kya chahiye tum ko? What do you want parth?" she banged her fist on the table.
"oooo! Choo cherious...." Parth cocked his head pouting "let's exchange the formalities first" parth said, he then dragged his chair close to hers and touched her legs. She was looking straight at him. He then lifted her right foot up a bit and left it, it dangled to the foot rest as a free lifeless object. Even when sanyukta couldn't feel anything, there were tears in her eyes now.
"So.... Sad..." parth looked up at her smiling wickedly. He then noticed the tears in her eyes "aww.... Poor girl..... Stop, stop crying.... Such a vulnerable emotional pet you are..." he said settling back in the chair.
"What do you want?" she asked again.
"What do I want? Nothing" parth shrugged casually.
"Don't pretend parth! I know, it's you. It's you behind that accident; it's you behind randhir's company plunging into losses, what the hell do you want? To leave us alone?!" she asked emphasizing every word of hers. The colors on parth's face drained on hearing her words. But soon he broke into smile.
