A couple of weeks rolled and sanyukta began to learn to live with her disability. Live with the truth that she couldn't walk anymore. Randhir was there by her side always and never in those days had she felt the need of the wheelchair. But things always don't go the same was as they were once. Finally the day arraived for randhir to leave for his office. That day he bid goodbye to sanyukta and left for office, promising her that he'd be back soon. She smiled and said "I'll wait."

All the day she was alone. And the more she was alone the more she died remembering the fact that she can't walk anymore. She don't know what to do and how to kill the time... she waited till the evening for randhir to come back but due to the heavy work randhir was late to home and by the time randhir came, the maid put sanyukta to bed and sanyukta was fast asleep.

Things weren't same the next day. Randhir left early and reached home late. Sanyukta was totally bored and began to feel alone. Having nothing to do she dailled raghu but he was too busy to talk to her, as all the work was on his shoulders in the absence of sanyukta. Raghu was trying hard to maintain the place of "raindeer enterprizes" in the sheet of India's top companies. Even vardhan. He now had two companies to take care of. One, his own and the other sanyukta's.

One accident. One single accident. It caused unbearable and irrovacble loss in the lives of sanyukta and randhir and in the lives of people related to them. And then it wasn't the end. Cause it created the chaos in their professional lives too. Randhir had begun to work restlessly and relentlessly to save what has been theirs, so did raghu and vardhan. In this process they totally were unaware that they were neglecting sanyukta.

Sanyukta too grasped the change. Being already depressed by the loss of hers, she was unable to bare their absence too. And then she decided something.

A week after randhir began to work till late in the night, sanyukta stayed up that night till randhir arrived home.

"Baby, you haven't slept yet..? It's already one." Randhir said seeing her sitting in the couch fiddling with the remote control of the TV the moment he entered in.

Sanyukta craned her neck up to face him and then randhir realized. Her eyes were glossy. She was crying. He left all the files his blazer at the door step itself and reached her in a stride, seeing tears in her eyes felt like so suffocating for him.

"sanyu" he cupped her face wiping her tears"what happened?" he asked making her rest her head on his chest.

She sobbed for a second and said "leave me back in shimla randhir. I wanna go back to that orphanage. Even when I have none back at that orphanage I never felt alone. I never felt like an orphan. But here, I have a family for name sake. I have a big company to run but suddenly it's feeling like am all alone, everything is mine but at the sametime nothing is mine here, leave me randhir. Leave me back in the orphanage. I'll be happy there; atleast will never feel alone there. Trust me I'm okay with my decision." Sanyukta looked up at him caressing his cheeks that were covered by his thick beared, it was clear that he haven't shaved for days.

Randhir's eyes were blank while sanyukta's eyes glistened with pain and a little hope. The colors in randhir's face faded when he heard her saying to leave her. Suddenly he felt ashamed. The girl he promised to never leave her hand till their last breathe was now feeling alone...! It pained him for a reason and he realized what a blunder he had done in the race of keeping up their business top in the charts.

Randhir looked down at her in eyes and said "where's that sanyukta I fell in love with?" he asked and sanyukta's eyes went wide in astonishment. He then let her go off and sat a bit away from her "you're not her!" he said

"rain-deer" sanyukta was baffled

"No. you're not that san-yuck-tha. You've changed. That san-yuck-tha I know never had tears in her eyes. That sanyukta I knew raised 2 steps high when she fell for one step. That sanyukta I knew challenged me in eye like no one does. That sanyukta I knew was fire. That sanyukta I knew was hope. That sanyukta I knew was invincible. That sanyukta I knew was a confidence, an inspiration. That's not you" he stood up. Suddenly sanyukta's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, randhir's words began to make sense and she too realized she was never this low before. She was still looking at randhir who took a deep breath and said "a small accident and an injury just won't be a hurdle for the sanyukta I have known. It won't stop her to spread her wings and fly high soaring heights. It definitely won't." randhir said with his hands on his hips and looking down at her. She had her head hung low and was silent. The room too was silent from the tranquility of the night,

A moment later sanyukta looked up and mumbled "I am that same sanyukta" a smile crept to randhir's lips that were slightly chapped due to the chilling weather, but he managed to kill that smile and appear more serious

"What?" he asked narrowing his eyes. Sanyukta took a deep breath and reapeted. "I am the same sanyukta!"

"I don't feel so!" randhir shrugged recklessly rolling his eyes

Sanyukta's budding confidence now turned to something so invincible because of his remark; she clenched her fists and banged them against the soft cushion of the sofa while her jaws tightened "what do you want?" she gritted "I know I am!"

"What do I want?" randhir bent forward "I want you to work. Do you understand?" he pointed his finger at her. "Work! Work for what you've started years back. Work! You're not disabled. Are you? Then why don't you work? Work. Prove me that you are that same sanyukta. Compete with me! Defeat me!" randhir said and then he was successful in igniting that fire in her heart again. The fire to win, to rule this business world, was just started with a speck and brewed into wild forest flame. She, till then looking in his eye now looked away.

"Take me to my room" she said. Randhir shrugged, trying hard to control his smile of triumph and lifted her up in his arms, he carefully placed her on bed and left for the loo. By the time randhir exited the loo sanyukta was on phone to rahghu inquiring about the details of the work going on in the raindeer enterprises with various files around her.

He checked the watch and it was two in the morning. He let out a proud smile and reached for his side of bed. He looked at her and said "sleep, we have to leave for shimla tomorrow, I'll leave you there in the orphanage by morning." He said

Sanyukta looked at him and said "I have couple of meetings scheduled tomorrow. I will be busy. You go if you want." She said getting back on her phone. Randhir chuckled "san-yuck-tha" and hugged her waist resting his head in her lap. She caressed his hair and soon he was fast asleep while sanyukta stayed up analyzing her work she had abandoned for past few months.
