Things began to change for better after sanyukta's marriage with randhir. In a fortnight after their wedding in Christian tradition, they both got married again in Hindu tradition. And a week after that randhir's parents flew abroad leving their business to randhir and randhir to sanyukta. Every thing seemed finally thrown back to gear, their businesses were running on track, so was their perfect married life. Vardhan too had seen the light finally, he officially took over all his businesses in which he wasn't active till then, however he was leading again, and he had shifted to a better place along with his wife. Sanyukta, no matter how busy balancing her personal and professional life, she never ignored vardhan, she used to visit him thrice every week and with every visit their bond just grew stronger than before.

27th January

Soon two good months of their marriage were completed and it was the month of January then! Randhir was out on a business tour and sanyukta began to miss him. The sky hovering Delhi was cloudy that day and was drizziling right from the morning adding romantic essence to the ambience around. The weather made her miss him even more, added to that it was confirmed just the day before that she's pregnant. And she couldn't contain her happiness! She wanted to break the news to randhir, jumping in his arms as early as possible! But still there was a day tour left for randhir and he'd be arraived the next day around two in the afternoon.

Added to her excitement and restlessness to see randhir, the fact that it was their second month anniversary of their marriage the next day made here insomanic. Sanyukta couldn't sleep that night. That night was spent like a decade.

However the next morning i.e 28th January sanyukta woke up with with wishes from her inlaws and a text from randhir that he'd meet her directly at her work place, she smiled and texted him the address of her site where she was going to conduct an inspection on the work that day.

She smiled because she knew that he'd planned something big and surprising for her and she smiled even more because she too planeed something really lovable for him — the news of her pregnancy. And she just wanted time to fly away. She waited for the clock to point two in the afternoon for she couldn't wait to be in his arms.

She began the day with randhir's text. Later in office for an hour, she left to the site where one of her projects — contract with suryavanshi's — an office building that was under construction. She left to the site with raghu, for vardhan was already there. The building was almost completed except for the little work like plastering, doing windows and doors etc. anyway all the forenoon went in inspecting the site and construction and the work that was left to be done.

Past the midday, around 1 30 pm all the workers left for lunch whilst raghu, sanyukta and vardhan sat for lunch in the cellar, not so far from the compound wall that the road is completely visible to them and were discssing their work. As it was drizziling, the ground was all muddy and slippery, the raw material for the construction was left in the ground itself, all the beams, tresses, concrete and steel, the glass panes for windows and wood were in the ground.

"Are they left overs raghu?" vardhan asked and raghu nodded whilst sanyukta was serving food to their plates.

"Why didn't you check before ordering them" sanyukta interrupted

"I did. But I don't know where it went wrong" raghu sounded genuine meanwhilst a lorry loaded of cement bricks pulled into the compound.

"Alright. Arrange meeting with manager tomorrow, will figure it out." she said passing plate to vardhan.

"Let it be beta. Let us put up another floor in this building." Vardhan said taking the plate from her hands, stretching the conversation, sanyukta was silent she wanted to say no, but she didn't because she just don't want to initiate another conversation and thwart herself from missing randhir. So she fell silent. And then they began to eat. She was all silent watching raghu and vardhan discussing their work. She was there but her mind was roaming elsewhere in a pradaise of thoughts about randhir.

How ever, after what seemed eternity her mobile buzzed around 1 45 pm suddenly, she jumped in happiness assuming it to be one from randhir. She swiped it to unlock and the screen flashed a message from an unknown number "Randhir"she said to herself and there spread a smile on her face but the smile vanished as she opened the text and read it. It read "there's always a third eye watching you. Watch your tracks lady."

Her face instantly grimaced as her forehead developed a frown, raghu noticed her and gently pressed her hand that was resting on the table "is everything okay?" he asked.

"Uh. Yeah! Every thing is absolutely fine" she shrugged it off with a gentle smile but deep down her heart she knew that something isn't right. That something was going to be terribly wrong. Her mind was now working fast. She had a haunch that it could be none other than parth but she wondered what his intention is behind being silent all these days and sending her this text after all this time.

"Think sanyukta think.... Something is going to happen..." her mind began to pester her as she began to check her surrounding not even missing a single detail, but everything seemed quite normal and peaceful, she looked at the building that stood high with pride beside her. It seemed absolutely normal and then she began to check around, the raw materials were there in the groung lifeless, and then there are men unloading the concrete bricks from the lorry, ther was nothing unusual. Everything seemed alright. But still she wasn't satisfied cause parth and his sinister deeds are never to be neglected and this text was one such sinister deed of his.

She was now checking the road too and then suddenly all her thoughts disappeared and a smile spread on her face when she caught a glimpse of randhir parking his car on the other side of the road and walking towards the building, crossing the road with bouquet full of roses in his hands.

"rain-deer" a thin layer of tears blurred her vision, she forgot everything for a minute and stood up to reach him, she placed her mobile on the table and began to walk out as if she was hypnotized, in his direction that she didn't notice a bolero speeding towards her.

Randhir, who was now at the road divider had noticed the vehical and was shouting at her to stay back but sanyukta couldn't pay any heed to his words in the utter bliss she was feeling after seeing him after days

"Sanyukta back off" this time he screamed hard that it didn't take any time for raghu to realize the situation, he looked aside and noticed the bolero "heck! Sanyukta" he bellowed and began to walk after her, fast, real fast, meanwhilst randhir began to run towards her.

But it was too late then that the bolero was at a cubit distance away from her with its scray appearance spreading a carpet for her death, sanyukta froze in her tracks as she noticed it, however in spur of the moment before it could hit her randhir reached her and pushed her back hard. Real hard that she lost her control and fell on her back hitting the bricks that were stacked just then on the ground and the bolero inturn hit randhir, that his head hit its bonett before he hit the road.

"Randhir!" sanyukta, bleeding, screamed in pain and fear but couldn't move an inch, she began to lose her senses witnessing the love of her life being knocked down, may be to death by a speeding vehical.

"Sanyukta" vardhan rushed to her whilst raghu rushed towards randhir. Vardhan collapsed beside sanyukta with teary eyes, lifting her up into his arms, but she couldn't register anything. The pain began to take over her senses whilst her eyes were fixed on randhir's body that was lying on the road doused in blood and sweat under the sun.

"Sanyukta" vardhan tapped on her cheek lightly but profusely trying hard to keep her awake but she was hardly responding, her eyes still locked with randhir's as if exchanging the few last words of love with him. There was a smile on randhir's face, a proud one. For, he stood up for their marriage vows. And then all she did was smiling back as if this was a good bye, forever. After which she passed out.

Things began to happen in jiff, police and press arraived before the ambulance did. They were rushed to hospital. The police made it clear that it was an attempt to mureder and registered it as hit and run case. Soon they began to collect the clues. But something that went unnoticed was sanyukta's mobile on the table in the cellar of their building and the message in it "there's always a third eye watching you. Watch your tracks lady."
