As randhir left, sanyukta found herself in a dilemma; she wondered whether it went the same way she had planned or not. But still she was confused and scared "yeh kya kiya maine....?" She held her forehead in her palm and walked up to her bed. "What if he takes it the other way?" she asked herself settling on the bed. For a moment she felt like calling back randhir and talking to him. But something inside her stopped. She took a deep breath and leaned back on her bed hoping for something better, may be best. Soon she dozed off.

At twelve in the midnight. sanyukta woke up with the loud buzz of her mobile. She attended the call and said groggily "hello?" it's raghu's call. And the best she had hoped hours ago had came. "What???" she shrieked in utter bliss and astonishment when raghu said that the land was sold and they got the cash they had expected.

"Great then... come back immediately" she disconnected the call and jumped out of her bed she did a little happy dance before dialing her secretary and ordering her to inform the employees to be there in office tomorrow exactly at seven in the morning. She was bustling with confidence that everything will be soon back on track.

At the same time, on the other side of city another soul too was bubbling with joy as it has experienced the love for the first ever time in its life. He was with many other girls before but nothing felt like being with sanyukta. Even when it's just for an hour, it felt blissful, he could no more wait to go to her as nothing was more beautiful than being someone's special. And he knew he was special for sanyukta... his san-yuck-tha. He knew he had hurt her and already he was repenting it. A part of his heart feared that what if sanyukta was stubborn with her decision and never want him back in her life. The thought itself made him shiver. But still there was a speck of confidence flickering in his heart that she would welcome him back again... even if she won't he knew how to woo her back. That night, he dialed his manager before he slept and discussed a couple of things. And then he had a sound sleep, the best ever one in his life.

The next morning when sanyukta woke up there was a coffee mug and a bunch of red roses on her bed side table, unfortunately she hadn't noticed them, she quickly got freshened up and left for work. It was just seven in the morning but the office was bustling with employees and the work was on full swing, the work men had accepted to restart the work thus the work at all the remaining five sites had resumed. Soon sanyukta immersed herself neck deep in to work that she hadn't noticed a red rose bouquet on her table.

A week rolled and things began to retract back, sanyukta and raghu worked day in and day out not even leaving the office for a second and the results were obvious. Three of her five buildings were completed and the cash flow was incessant. She was talk of the town again. Soon she cleared all her debts and accepted two other new projects, strange thing was that every day the courier boy delivered her office at least half a dozen bouquets of red roses but sanyukta, being a work alcoholic had never noticed them.

But exactly after a week, when the remaining two buildings too were completed and sanyukta was all free and relaxed, she decided to take a day off from her work and sleep for an entire day. It was then that she noticed the table in her office room of her apartment crammed with withered roses and bouquets, her forehead creased immediately as her heart screamed only one name... "randhir." She blushed for a second and she know that. For a moment she just wanted to bridge the gap between them and let herself rest in his arms, but something inside her stopped... "No problem. Let that idiot die waiting for me." She kicked her foot on the floor, called her servant maid and ordered her to clear the table right now.

Sanyukta had a sound sleep all the day and she woke up at 9 pm that night, the weather was chilling and cold winter breeze was blowing intensely, having slept for nearly fifteen hours, she decided to talk a walk, she got down her bed, slipped herself into casuals and left for a walk.

She strolled on the Delhi streets till quarter less twelve in the midnight, letting the cold wind kiss her cheeks, play with her tresses, but when she noticed the time, she walked back to her office building and took the lift for her apartment

It was exactly twelve in the midnight by the time she reached her apartment, as she opened the door her jaw fell open in to a perfect 'o' in astonishment as she saw her living room, bedroom, indeed her whole apartment filled with red roses with a tag "happy birthday" a loving smile touched her lips with tears ready to bounce out her eyes as her mind screamed his name again "it's randhir for sure"

She took a deep breath and jostled through the bouquets carefully to her bed room and reached for the big bouquet placed on the bed and reached for the tag on it. As she read the tag the smile on her lips vanished and her forehead creased, for the tag read "hope the next time we celebrate the day together — loads of love — parth"
