Summers pov
"Summer, it's time to wake up sweetie" I hear mommy whisper into my ear."Give me like two more minutes...or hours" I say keeping my eyes closed. I hear her laugh.
"Nope, sorry but you have school in exactly one hour and thirty minutes." I open my eyes and roll over.
"Fine" I say sitting up. She smiles and leads me to my room where my clothes were laid out on my bed. There was a peach colored shirt with a brown rabbit on it and leggings with different colored rectangles and triangles. After she dresses me I go to my dresser and put on my bracelet, mommy left and came back with a hair tie and headband. She pulls my long brown hair into a high pony tail and she takes a picture of me sitting on my bean bag and making a silly face. After that we walk downstairs to eat breakfast. I finished my Cheerios and put on my pink rain boots and purple jacket. Then I put on my frozen themed backpack, Frozen is my favorite movie. I say goodbye to blue and mr. Snuggles and we leave. In the car I think about what today will be like, I mean I've never been to school before, ms.cedar taught me at the home. After a while we pulled up to the school. Mommy got out and helped me get out of the car and I skipped up to the front door with mommy not far behind. it had just finished raining so I jumped in the puddles on the way. We entered the school and were directed to room 8. Mommy and my teacher ms. Burchet talked while I look for my desk. As I'm coloring I hear a nasally and extremely annoying voice
"Mother look, they don't even have any good toys!" She says. Her mom just nods. I can tell that she's gonna be the most annoying person in the class.
"Hey" I hear mommy say from beside me. "I have to go now,but I'll be back soon" I start panicking, it's okay when it's just for an hour at acting but a whole school day is where I draw the rainbow chalk line! Seriously, someone go get me some chalk
"Mommy please don't leave me here!" I blubber.
"I'll be back soon" she said.
"Noooo!" I scream.

Taylor's pov
I couldn't stand to see my baby like this. Maybe she's just not ready for school. I mean some kids don't start until five and she just turned four right before I adopted her. Even though that was almost two months ago, it feels like I've known her forever. "Ok, we'll come back when your ready." I say giving in. She's not ready to leave me just yet. I tell the teacher she's not feeling well, I feel bad for lying but summer still needs me. I carry her out of the school and into the car."So, what should we do now?" I asked her starting the car.
"Two words: ice. Cream!" I smile but deep down, this is what I was worried about. Her wanting to go to public places and all the questions I would get if someone, especially the paparazzi, saw me with a mystery little girl who seems to have appeared out of nowhere. But I pulled out of the school parking lot and drive to Ben & Jerry's. Summer got a chocolate chip cookie dough cone and I got strawberry cheesecake. Just as I suspected, the second we stepped out of the door we were bombarded with questions and had cameras shove in our faces. Summer hid her face in my coat and tightened her grip around my neck.
"Who's the little girl Taylor?"
"Over here!!"
"Can we see her face?
"Who's the father?" All the questions must have gotten a little too much for her because she let out a high pitched shrieking noise and started crying. Everyone got quiet. We pushed past the crowd and finally reached our car. I quickly
"Shhh baby, you're okay mommy won't let anyone hurt you"
"Pwomice?" She asked wiping her face with her sleeve.
"I promise."

Ok so I know that in the first chapter it said summer had already started school but I changed it so she was home schooled. Thanks for reading!
