Gerard had left about ten minutes ago but I was still frozen sitting on Scott's bed. I looked down to see that I was holding the locket so tight it cut into the palm of my hand. I welcomed the pain. It helped me snap out of the state of shock I was in. Scott was getting closer and closer to death. I had no way of knowing whether Gerard would keep his promise to not kill Scott as long as I got him the anecdote. One thing I did know was that meanwhile I'm sure he's gonna torture Scott.

I still remember how Kate tortured Derek. How she really didn't have anything against him... well that I know of. My grandfather definitely has a reason to want to torture Scott. I couldn't even imagine what Scott could like look like in this moment.

My mother's voice yelled at me interrupting my thoughts, "My god Allison! You're an Argent. Act like one. Stop standing around doing nothing!"

My mother's scolding was what I needed to get into action. I looked into Scott's closet hoping he hadn't moved my things from where I left them. Yes! I found my little duffel and found an old t-shirt and jeans. I ruined Lydia's masterpiece on my head and pulled my hair into a tight bun and slipped my feet into the Ked's I'd left behind. Not exactly my preferred outfit of choice but I didn't have time to waste. I put my locket back on tucking it under my shirt.

Dr. Deaton usually closed late on Sundays which I never understood because most places closed early. Today I was happy for his strange ways. He was open for about another half hour so I raced against time and arrived with twenty minutes left. I parked an ran out the car not even turning off the engine as I ran to the glass door and banged against it. Oh no please tell me he was still here. I kept knocking and I couldn't help but think of the last time I was here knocking in the middle of night. Scott had helped me and now I was here to help him.

I see his puzzled face as he unlocks the door and I sighed in relief. I had just hours left before Gerard would kill Scott. I barged in once the door swung open.

"Allison. What's the matter? Is it Scott?" Dr. Deaton was worried seeing as the only visitors he gets at this time are usually looking for help in the werewolf department.

"Yes. I need to ask for a favor. If you don't help me Scott will be dead in just hours." My voice was clear and I was proud to hear it not shaking. The anger was fueling me now and I wasn't a scared little girl who couldn't do anything without crying.

"Of course anything."

"Do you remember grandfather? The one you and Scott poisoned with mountain ash? How he died after the bite?"

"Yes I do. What about him?" Dr. Deaton was trying to remain calm but I know he was worried about what I might ask of him.

"Turns out he's alive... He kidnapped Scott. He told me the only way he'd let him live is if I get the remedy. He's not giving going to give up until he's a werewolf."

"Oh my. But from what I know about him he won't stop there Allison. He likes to be in control. He won't want to be a beta for the rest of his life."

"But I can't just let him kill Scott... Dr. Deaton please help me." I whispered my hand flew to the locket once again using it to calm my nerves.

"Allison I'm afraid I cant. I don't want Scott to die but think about it. He wouldn't want you to help Gerard. If he were here he'd tell you not to do it."

"I know but what if the roles were reversed?"

"I don't," he sighed "Yes he would do it for you. Scott would never let anyone hurt you."

"Please help me. Please..." I begged him knowing that every second I spent here Scott was being hurt for it. Just as he was about to respond my phone starting ringing. My hands were shaking so much I almost dropped it. I looked at the screen to see an incoming call from.. Scott! Scott! Oh my god! My hands shake as I slide my finger across the screen to pick up the call.

"H-Hello?" I stuttered and put my phone on speaker so Dr.Deaton can hear. He stepped closer when he saw the caller was Scott.

"Allison it has been one hour. Has progress been made?" Gerard's voice come out of the speaker I stood there devastated when it wasn't Scott's reassuring voice.

 "Not yet. I-"

Gerard interrupted me, "I was hoping you wouldn't say that. Poor Scott is going to have to be punished for your lack of action.."

"No please I-"

I stopped when I heard Scott's screams pour of the speaker. I had never heard screams of pure agony before this moment. Nothing could prepare me for that moment. No amount of training from my father or life experience could help as I heard the love my life yell. I heard thrashing and I could tell Scott was probably trying to escape whatever torture my grandfather was inflicting upon him. Suddenly I hear him scream out a name. My name. He was calling for me. The scream continued mixed with Gerard's laughter and I couldn't stop listening to the pain Scott was going through.

My brain begged me to hang up the phone but I was froze. The tears were coming down my face making my vision blur. Dr. Deaton finally snatched the phone away and ended the call. I was thankful for the gesture but nothing could erase the screams still echoing in my memory.

"Alright. I'll help you."
