Runaway
I woke up early cause I need to pass my project at school at 8am. Luckily malapit lang yung Café Andradé sa school namin kaya I'm not afraid na male-late ako.
Pumunta na agad ako sa faculty para ipasa yung papers ko. Ayoko naman mag pataan ng oras at baka ma late ako sa usapan namin nung Griffin na yon.
"Sophie! Hey!" Hinanap ko kung sino yung tumatawag sakin paglabas ko ng faculty
"Sophie! Here!" Lumingon ako at nakita ko si Ethan
"Hey what's up? Aga mo ngayon ah?" He asked me.
"May lakad ako later kaya inagahan ko na yung pagpasa ng papers ko. Ikaw? Practice?" I asked him while looking up. He's too tall, like I am already tall but he's a giant. Lol
"Yup. May sasalihan kaming competition eh." He answered. "Let's have lunch later?" He asked me
"Uhm I'll try. Dadalin ko sa casa yung car ko eh." I know that Ethan likes me more than just a friend. I'm not assuming anything it's just that I am conscious of his actions.
"Why? What happen to your car?" He asked curiously
"Wala nagashasan lang because of some asshole na di maingat mag drive." I said
"Nasaktan ka ba?" He asked again
"Nah. Naka park yung kotse ko nung nangyari yon. Pasalamat siya wala ako don kung hindi ay nako." I said
"Ikaw talaga. Let's just be thankful na walang nangyaring masama sayo." He said
"Yeah. Pano pa nga ba?" I said as I look at my watch 10 minutes before 9, kailangan ko nang umalis. "Hey, Ethan I have to go. Text you later." Umalis na ako kaagad after he nyang mag goodbye.
I'm doomed, I'm already 15 minutes late. Bakit ba kasi di ko naisip na kahit malapit lang tong café na to sa school eh traffic naman sa dadaanan kon. Gawd!
Mr. Asshole Calling...
Yep. I named him Asshole? Why? Wala lang, I just feel like it
"Hello. I'm sorry I'm late, but I'm already here." I apologized
"Yeah you're already 18 minutes late. I don't have all the time in the world miss." He said coldly
"I said I'm sorry okay? Where are you?" I asked irritatedly
"2 tables away from the counter" he said. I roamed inside the coffee shop and saw his back.
"Okay. I think I already saw you." I said as I ended the call. I immediately walked toward that guy who's sitting comfortably
"Hey. Sorry I'm late." Sabi ko habang humilhila ng upuan sa harap nya
"I hate tardiness." He said. Napalingon ako sa kanya. I was taken aback when I saw how gorgeous this guy is
"I said I'm sorry okay? Hindi mo naman siguro isisisi sakin yung traffic diba?" Sabi ko ng makabawi ako
"Fine. Let's talk about the mess I made. Sorry about that, Ms. Sophie Laverne Altamirañez." He said with a grin
"H-how did you know my name?" I aksked
"Uhm from your ID?" He smirked at me
Di ko na pala naalis yung ID ko sa sobrang pagmamadali ko
"Can you please stop grinning like that?" I said
"Why? Girls go crazy when I'm grinning like this. Are you affected?" He said naughtily
Inirapan ko lang sya sa naging pahayag nya
"Going back to our issue. I asked my friend if he can accommodate your car in his repair shop, he said yes." He said as he leaned on the table
"Should we go now? I need to go home early." I asked him
"Nah. My friend's staff will take your car from here. Wanna order something?" He asked
"Nah I'm good. So mag cocommute nalang pala ako pauwi. Okay" I said absentmindedly
"If you say so. Let's go to the parking, nandyan na siguro yung kukuha ng kotse mo." He said as he stand up
Nasa likod nya lang ako habang naglalakad kami. He got some height, I think he's 6'5 or 6'6?
Nang dumating kami sa parking tinanong niya kung saan ako naka park at hinintay na lang namin doon yung kukuha ng car ko
He leaned at my car with his arm crossed. Napatitig ako sa kanya
I'm sure this guy is ain't human, he's a greek god! He has a perfect set of white teeth, his chiseled jaw, his pointed nose, his deep grey eyes that can hypnotize anyone, his biceps na bakat na bakat sa suot niyang grey v-neck shirt, his perfectly molded chest, and I know inside that shirt he's hiding a six pack abs.
"Didn't your mom told you that staring is rude?" I was surprised when he suddenly speak
"I-I'm not s-staring at you!" I said defensively
"Really? Do you like what your seeing?" He said while grinning
"I'm just checking if I should stay or run away from you." Palusot ko
"You should know that you can't run away from me that easy, Miss." His words gave me chills and I feel something in my stomach.
