Chapter 2

Threatened

"Matagal pa ba yung kukuha ng sasakyan?" I asked Luke. He's still leaning on my car wth his eyes closed

"We've been here for just 10 minutes. Masyado ka namang mainipin." He answered

"I have a lunch out later. Di pa ba siya dadating?" I asked again. I texted Ethan that we can meet at 12 kaya kailangan ko nang makaalis.

"With whom? Your boyfriend?" He asked half smiling

"You don't care." Mataray kong sabi habang umiirap

"I care. Ako yung nakita ng mga taong huling kasama mo, what if something bad happen to you? Syempre ako ang masisisi." He said arrogantly

"Stop being OA Mr. Griffin." I said

"My name sounds hot when you say it" He said while grinning

"God! You're so gross!" I rolled my eyes at him. 

"I'm just saying the truth." He said. "Oh nanjan na pala yung kukuha ng kotse mo." He waved at the guy who's driving a tow truck

"Finally! So pano? Let's part ways after this." I proclaimed

"Not so fast babe. Do you even know where will I bring your car?" He asked. Natauhan ako sa tanong nya

"Gosh! Just call me okay?!" I answered irritably

"Making some excuses to talk to me again? That won't work for me babe." He just winked at me

"Your too arrogant for your own good Mr. Griffin. Just tell me where the shop is and I can go there on my own." I'm really irritated with this guy!

"Nah. I'll just call you." Sa pagtatalo namin di namin namalayan na hihilahin na pala paalis yung kotse ko

"Boss kami na pong bahala dito." Said the guy who drives the tow truck

"Yah. Paki ingatan nalang" he said while still looking at me

"You need some ride home?" He asked me. Nakaalis na yung tow truck with my car pero kami nakatayo pa rin sa parking

"Nah I'm good. Ayoko namang magka utang na loob sayo" I said with sarcasm

"Simple lang naman ang magiging kapalit eh" he smiled creepily at me

"This talk is non sense. I gotta go! Bye!" I said walking away from him

"As you wish." He said and walked pass by me. Wow! What a gentleman.

Nakarating ako sa restaurant na pinag usapan namin ni Ethan. I'm 30 minutes early but it's okay. I'm used in going out and hanging around with Ethan. I feel comfortable around him pero I just like hi as a friend.

"Hey kanina ka pa?" Bungad ni Ethan na kararating lang

"Nope. Upo ka na. Let's eat." I invited him

"So how's your car?" He asked after we ordered our food

"Dinala na sa casa. Sandali lang naman siguro yun na aayusin no?" I asked him

"Uhm it depends on the scratch kaso mukhang malalim yung scratch ng car mo maybe 3 days yon don." He said napairap nalang ako. "I can drive you always if you'll ask me too." He offered

"Nah. Kaya ko naman mag commute and besides Gracey also have a car." I said

"Just text me when you need a ride." He said.

Nagulat ako nang mayrong mga studyanteng nagbubulungan na para bang kinikilig

"He's too hot! Oh my god"  

"I know right! First time ko siyang makita dito" 

"He'll eat here? Wow arms pa lang niya ulam na"  Ang sakit sa tenga nang mga estudyanteng ito!

I was curious kaya hinanap ko kung ano ang pinag kakaguluhan nila.

Mali pala ako, hindi ano kung di sino.

Seating near our table is no other than the biggest asshole that I've known. Luke Martin Griffin. Don't tell me dito sya kakain?

"What?" He mouthed when he saw me staring at him. Inialis ko agad ang tingin ko sa kanya at hinarap si Ethan

"What's up with Luke, why is he here?" Narinig kong bulong ni Ethan

"You know that guy?" I asked him

"Yeah. A family friend." He just shrugged

"Hey Ethan! Long time no see, wanna introduce me to this fine lady?" Nagulat ako nang nakalapit na pala sa amin si Luke

What's the problem with this guy?

"Uhh Luke this is Sophie, Sophie this is Luke of LMG Industry. Have you heard about him?" Ethan asked me without knowing that I've met this bad boy already?

He's not the typical bad boy type. I mean, he's not the guy who's wearing a black leather jacket with a messy hair and belongs to a frat. He's a bad boy which will ruin your day by just seeing his presence and seeing how gorgeous he is. A classy bad boy to be exact.

"Hi. So is this a date?" Luke asked with a crooked smile

Napatingin nalang sakin si Ethan bago sumagot

"Nah bro. Lunch out. I'm surprised to see you here" Ethan answered

"I'm also surprised to see myself here." Luke answered while smiling sheepishly at me

"Wanna join us bro?" Napatingin nalang ako kay Ethan nang ayain niya si Luke

"Gladly." Humila na agad ng upuan si Luke pagkatapos nyang sabihin yon

"Sophie? Are you okay? Tahimik mo yata?" Ethan just asked. I cursed myself, why am I too affected by Luke's presence?

"Uh I'm okay. May naisip lang ako." I excused

"So what's your plan this coming vacation?" Ethan asked me

"Baka umuwi kami ni Gracey sa province. Balak naming mag volunteer ulit." I answered before eating. "Ikaw?" I asked him

"Summer basketball league. May inter school competition sinalihan yung school natin eh." He answered

"No plans of going out of town Ethan?" Luke just suddenly asked. I nearly forgot that he's with us

"Ewan. Baka after nalang ng league. Ikaw? Still workaholic?" Ethan asked

"You know me Ethan. No time for games." He just looked at me after he said that. Tumango nalang si Ethan sa sagot ni Luke

"What's your plan after this?" Ethan asked me

"Uwi na. I wanna sleep. Ugh." I said

"Seems like you didn't have enough sleep last night huh?" He laughed silently

"Yeah. Ang daming projects." Sabi ko na sinabayan pa ng irap. "Ikaw? Still have class later?" I asked

"Yep. Class and practice" he said

After we ate, Ethan wanted to drive me home but I refused. May class pa siya and besides kaya ko namang umuwi mag isa

"Hey get inside" nagulat ako nang may humintong sasakyan sa harapan ko and I saw Luke

"Nah, I can go home alone." I said

"Don't try me miss. Just get inside." He said with a cold voice, I was bothered by his threat kaya pumasok na ko agad

"I'm glad you're threatened by me." He just said while he started the car's engine
