i'm going through a folder on my desktop of me playing songs on my guitar and singing and stuff and i miss it so much. i'm not too bad of a singer either, which is cool.

i think when i get home i want to buy a microphone and actually record high quality covers and post them or something. i don't know. listening to these are making me really want to go home and just sit on my floor and play guitar for like four hours straight. i love that.

i wish my voice wasn't built for such sickeningly delicate love songs. i mean, yeah i can spit some rap now and then and go all rock n roll, but it just doesn't suit my voice as well.

i found some eight minute video compilation of kurt getting pissed off and all i can say is goddamn, what a legend.

i can't wait to go home. 18 more days! thank fucking christ. i get to play guitar see all my friends and hangout with people and play guitar and wear all of my other clothes and play guitar and dye and cut my hair and fuckin cuddle my pets and sing and PLAY GUITAR i am so goddamn excited beyond words.

stumbled across a karma police cover to hear CRICKETS in the background! i miss my room and my house and dunnville and the birds and fucking night noises that used to lull me to sleep.

theres this one video of me trying to play hurt, but miserably failing, by johnny cash and chaun's sitting in my lap and its the cutest thing ever. miss my little cuddly, stupid baby.

i actually have a couple kickass covers on here. polly is one of them. i've always liked playing that song; easy chords and overall it's a pretty great song.

i especially like this one video because my voice was kind of cracking and i sounded like i was in a bad mood and at the end of it i let out some groan and it just sounded super good.

fact: the first song i memorized on guitar was seventeen by youth lagoon. i first heard it in one of my favourite movies, the kings of summer. if you haven't seen it then it's definitely one to put on your list.

the first song i chose to learn on guitar was mad world by gary jules which is kind of awesome because that was the first song jake bugg learned, too. cool dude.

dreams money can buy.

got some almonds and milk tea, don't know.

i keep doing this fucken thing where i spend too much money in the week and then have barely any for the weekend.

footnote: i was going through the videos again and i clicked next to find a video of me rapping to the danny phantom theme song.
