It was a sunny day, just like any other while we were sitting at a table in Starbucks. I was laughing at some funny thing my classmate said. I just started high school and I really had a bunch of friends I could laugh on a daily basis with. I thought I finally found the people who won't abandon me. My smile was real at that time. I didn't know this day is about to change everything I ever believed in. Ofcourse I had boyfriends before. But I don't think I've ever been in love.
I didn't pay attention to a table across the room. That's where my friend Nicholas was sitting with his friends. He smiled at me but it was not him that caught my attention. The boy who caught my attention with his smile was no other than Elias. I didn't know him at the time. And to be honest, I never knew our paths would later be combined into one.
