A week passed by and I was with my friend chatting over something that happened to her over spring break. Funny, I just wore a skirt to school that day, so I think I made quite an impression when Elias came over to us. My friend knew him so she introduced us and we later exchanged secret glances and shy smiles. Sooner before I knew it, he messaged me and I soon started to like him. We could talk about literally anything. Random things but yet again complex things I never told anybody about. It was something about him. He gave me a feeling of trust. Which for me, is pretty rare.

He had eyes as deep as the sea. The kind of sea that looks calm on the surface. But deep down, the monsters are just waiting for you to be eaten by them. We went on a date. One date. And I was completely hooked. We had our first kiss in the cinema. It's weird looking back at it now. If anything, our first kiss was supposed to be spectacular. Like the ones you see in the movies. But it was pretty special either way. As any other time I was kissed by him, he slowly grabbed my head with both hands just after looking at me like I was his whole world.

But I really wasn't ready hearing the words he said when we walked out of the shopping center on a cold night, where only his hand in mine kept me warm. He asked me to be his girlfriend. When I rejected him, his eyes went watery and the only thing he said was: ''Goodbye.'' I wanted to run behind him, but I knew I would only make it worse. He was gone in the dark cold night without looking back at me again. That's when my heart went wild and I cried till my mom came to pick me up. I thought our story was way over but it wasn't. It was just the beginning.
