I Still Think You're Beautiful

Alex POV

"You're beautiful" Vic told me. Vic and I were playing the Wii at my house.

"Stop it" I said focusing on the game.

"What am I doing?" Vic asks clueless.

"You're trying to distract me" I said.

"I don't need to try" he smirked.

"In your face" I yelled when I won the game. I start to dance not caring that I look lame doing it. "My feet are doing that all on their own," I pointed to my feet moving side to side. Vic laughs. "Let's play again."

"Yeah, I'll be right back" Vic said getting off the couch. I set up the game for the next round. Should we play in this background or another? I can't choose between  a Zelda theme or Mario theme. Why is life so hard?

. "Is Lizette pregnant?" Vic asks me. I turn around to face him. Did he just say pregnant?

"What...? Why would you say that?" I got tensed up and scratched my arm.

"I found a pregnancy test box in the bathroom." Vic said and I froze. "So is it hers?"

"What's mine?" Lizette says coming in the living. She's staying with us so we can keep her safe.

"The pregnancy test" Vic said facing her.

"No" she says. He looks at me.

"Is it yours?" Vic asks me.

"Umm, what?" I said clueless.

"Alex, are you pregnant?" Vic asks. My mind went blank.

"I haven't gotten tested yet but the box is mine" I said.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't know if I am yet and I'm too scared for the results."

"Don't be scared, I'll be here no matter what" he says kissing me. I took a breath before going inside the bathroom. Everything will be okay. I'm not ready for this. After taking the test, I waited for the results. I began to tear up when I saw the results. "Are you" I nod.

"I'm pregnant" I said. Vic hugged me. "Are you still going to be with me?"

"Yes why wouldn't I be" he said. "I'm glad we're having a baby." That's so sweet of him to say. If only that was true. I began to laugh and Vic looks at me confused.

"I'm not pregnant. You should have seen your face" I said laughing. Vic laughs with me.

"Thank god that could have been terrifying" Vic says continuing to laugh. I stop laughing when I process on what he just said. He slowly stopped laughing when he saw my serious face.

"Having a baby with me is terrifying" I said.

"No" he says.

"I knew it, if I was pregnant you wouldn't be okay with it" I said and my eyes were red.

"That's not what I meant" he says.

"Then tell me how would it be terrifying" I said.

"Well...um" I couldn't hear the rest because he was talking way too quietly.

"Would you still be with me if we had the baby?"

"Umm... yeah" his voice cracks. Did his voice just crack? He is a guy so you can't blame him but he hesitated.

"I got my answer" I said leaving.

River POV

"Oh no, it's too late" Melody said meditating.
