Fear the Reaper

Vic POV

After talking to Alex for a while because Anthony almost caught her with the phone. I went to hunt for some food that takes me forever since I live in a city where animals are far away. After a couple minutes, I walked into a farm that was far away but close, I went into the barn where they kept all their animals. I scanned the room to pick my next victim and I got closer to the pig that was sleeping next to another pig.

As I was going to grab the fat pig that was sleeping like a little kitten, the barn door opened and I raced to the top. The guy walked in with a shotgun and started to look around. "Show yourself" he yells shooting my way. I moved across the room. I was behind him.

"Can you see me?" I whispered to him. He turns around and didn't see me.

"Show yourself coward" he yells pointing his gun around. I let him see and he points his gun at me horrified. I know he can see my red eyes and you can clearly see my fangs. Was I planning on sucking his blood? No but am I going to, not sure.

"Drop the gun" I demanded and with his shaking hands he puts his gun down. I looked into his eyes and said "Don't scream, don't run, and just let me" He nods. I turn his head to the side so I can space to stick my fangs to it. I stuck my fangs in his veins and I tasted the blood of a human for the first time. It tasted better than some animal's blood.

As more blood I got the paler the guy got. I wanted to stop but I couldn't it tasted too good to be true. He didn't scream, didn't run, he just let me do this to him just as I said. After a couple of minutes, I stopped because I had enough. "You were bitten by an animal" I said into his eyes. "When I'm gone you're going to forget this and go back to bed." He nods. I left.

The rush of human blood entering my mouth was like I was truly alive. Then I remembered what Melody told me.

*Flashback*

"Why can't I drink human blood?" I asked still confused. I was sitting on the counter while Melody makes a ring for me.

"If you do then you won't have control of yourself and would want to eat them constantly" Melody explains.

"He can barely control himself around me" Alex says smirking and I glare at her.

"Oh my god, Alex" Melody says shaking her head while smiling. "You can become a ripper meaning that you got out and have a killing spree. You would start to kill other vampires, humans, animals, or anything in your path." Melody explains.

"That sounds scary" Alex says.

"All done" she says holding the ring. Alex grabs it and gets on one knee.

"Victor Vincent Fuentes, will you do me the honor to take a shower" she says. "I'm joking will you be my girlfriend?" she says and I nod. She puts the ring on my middle finger and she kisses me. "I'm your boyfriend" she says.

"Carry me" I said jumping on her just how she jumps on me. She catches me but struggles to walk.

*Flashback Over*

"Oh no, am I going to become a ripper?" I asked out loud. I saw a young girl walking the streets wearing a short dress that looked really nice but too bad it had to be ruined with all that blood that soon is going to be on her.

Alex POV

I laid there naked processing everything that just happened wishing it was a nightmare and I'd wake up with the sharks cold and sore. I could hear his snoring that kept me up all night. I could have escaped but why try when I'm just going to get caught. I didn't want to close my eyes not even to blink fearing that I might wake up to something tragic. I squint as I see a gleam of the sun rising through the curtains.
