Say You Like Me

Lizette POV

I woke up to Halsey's voice at 6 am, I know no one's awake but waking up early gives me time to have alone time. I haven't seen anyone all day yesterday so I'm assuming that they all went to go save Alex and left me behind to protect me. I honestly don't know why they keep me around or want me here.

I went to the bathroom to wash up; since no one is here then I decided to walk out in some sweats and bra. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I went to the kitchen to make some breakfast. I unlocked my phone and put my music in shuffle. I turned the volume up and sang along. As I started to dance, I got out a pack of oatmeal out and put it on a bowl then added some milk. I put it on the microwave and waited for three minutes. As I wait, I got some fruit like strawberries, mango, and an apple.

I chopped them up put it in another bowl. "What are you doing?" I heard Damon ask. I turn around and he was behind me.

"Damon" I said surprise. I jumped a little.

"What are you doing?" He asks once more.

"I'm making breakfast" I said putting a strand of hair behind my ear. "Are the others here?" I asked.

"No" he says. We looked at each other and I stopped when I heard the microwave beep.

"How was Ivy?" I turned around to get the hot bowl of oatmeal out.

"She agreed to help us" he says eating a strawberry.

"That was fast" I commented it. When it cooled down a little, I took my oatmeal and fruit to the table. I got a spoonful of oatmeal and aimed it t my mouth but Damon grabbed my hand and took it. "Damon" I said.

"What" he said smiling.

"You know what" I said.

"What did I do?"

"You ate some of my oatmeal and I'm hungry. Can't you hear my stomach growling?" My stomach growl and I know Damon heard it.

"Do you want it back?" He asks, opening his mouth.

"You're nasty" I said.

He got closer to my ear and whispered "in bed."

"So am I" I said looking at him. Our faces were close to each other and he kept looking up and down. "Stay still" I said. I reached to his ear and took out a piece of black air that was hanging. "You had a piece of hair on your ear" I said showing him.

"Oh ok" he says sarcastically.

"What" I asked.

"You know what" he says.

"I know you're a dick" I replied back.

"I know that you can't keep your legs close" he says back.

"Get out of my face because you're breath stinks" I said pushing him away.

"Wow, feisty aren't we" he says and I couldn't help but smile.

"Stop" I said.

"Stop what" he asks. He looked confused by what I said and it made me smile for some reason.

"Just stop all this" I said.

"What exactly is all this?" he asks.

"I don't know, you just keep..."I stop my sentence realizing what I was about to say.

"I just keep what" he asks getting closer. I don't know what's wrong with me but I kissed him quickly. Before he could react or say anything, I ran away upstairs. "Lizette" he called after me but I ignored him. I knew he could just pass me but I don't know why he doesn't.
