Fireworks

Alex POV

I teleported back to my room and I went to go check up on Brendon. "Hey Brendon," I said cheerfully. I'm so glad he is still alive.

"Hi Alex" he hugs me.

"What are you doing?" I sat next to him.

"I was playing video games." It's always video games with him.

"Why is your hair wet?" Brendon touched my hair.

"I fell on the lake" I told him. I could have said the shower, but I just had to say lake.

"Why aren't your clothes wet?"

"Because I changed" I tilted my head.

"Ok" he went back to his game. "Can we go to a water park on Sunday?" He asked handing me a flyer. There was going to be a discount for the arcade from 9 am-11 pm.

"Sure" I said looking at him. "How was your day?" 

"Boring I guess" he said looking disappointed.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Kevin is being a dick" he said. I'll let that pass this time because he seems down.

"Why?" I said and he paused the game.

"He has a girlfriend and she doesn't like me, so now he's been ignoring me" he told me pulling his legs close to his chest.

"Kevin is going to talk to you again because no girl can ever get between you guys. He is going to find out how stupid she is acting for doing that to both of you." I told him.

"What if he ignores me for the rest of my life? Who am I going to play video games with?" He said frowning.

"That won't happened" I reassured him.

"How do you know? Nothing like that never happened to you." He said quietly, but enough to be hear.

"I know because it's happened to me before. Girlfriends and boyfriends come and go, but best friends stay. No one likes an over controlling jealous girlfriend, so cheer up. If he was really your best friend then he will realize how much his girlfriend is wrong about doing this to you two." i said lifting up his head.

"Lexi, your the best" he said hugging me.

"I know" i hugged him back. "Where is Mama Perry?"

"Went grocery shopping."

"Ok" Brendon went back to his game.  I went upstairs and took a shower. After my shower, I put on shorts and a random shirt. I don't own anything fancy or suitable for a date like most girls. I also read when they go on dates that they are wearing dresses and skirts with mini top. I'm here wearing everyday clothes, but when it's special or Blade is around she helps me with those things. She always finds a way to convince me to wear what she wants me to me, but I'm okay with that. Blade is a fashion designer, so I trust her when it comes to fashion.

I start to brush my hair and put on some eyeliner. Is it bad if the only make up I like to put on is eyeliner? I only put on eyeliner and skip the foundation and all that. I grab my phone, sweater just in case I get cold, and some money. "Hey Vic" I called him.

"Sup Alex" he says.

"Do you want me to go to your house or meet up somewhere" I asked him.

"I'll pick you up" Vic said.

"Ok then bye."

"Bye" he hangs up. I hear a honk outside my house and I check who that is. It's Vic that was fast, we'll he does live 10 minutes away from me. "Bye Brendon, love you. Don't open the door to anyone and be safe." I said hugging him and kissing his cheek.
