I go to school the next day wearing baggy sweatpants, a baggy sweater, blue vans, and my hair in a messy bun. I get to my locker and look over my shoulder. I see a guy with side swept hair with a backwards SnapBack on. He's with all the other popular guys that do nothing but tease me. He looks over his shoulder at me and smiles.
At lunch I sit at the table I always sit at, by myself. I see the guy again walking with his tray in his hands with his friends. He leaves them and starts walking toward me. He sits down across from me. "Hey" he says. "Uh...hi..?" I say. "I'm Tyler. But you can call me Ty.." He says. "Scout.." I say. "You're not looking like yourself today.." He says. How? "How do you know what I look like?" I ask. "I see you around a lot." He says. I nod. After school, I check my phone and I have a friend request on Facebook from Ty. I accept it. He asks if we can hang out and I say yes. I text him my address and he arrives a few minutes later. We sit in my room and talk. I changed into a t-shirt and leggings when I got home. "What's that?" Ty asks pointing at my arm. I hide my wrist. "What's what?" I ask forming a fake smile. "Don't lie to me please.." He says. I look down at my crossed legs. I hand him my arm and he inspects it. I look away from him. He then kisses my wrist. All the scars. He looks up at me. He looks into my eyes. He kisses me softly. I hear my door open and its Hazel. She takes a picture. "Who's this young man?" She asks. "I'm Ty." He says. She nods. She posts the picture on Instagram and Andy sees it.
