"Okay what's going on here? Why is there a crib and baby clothes everywhere?" Oli asks. Jared, Alex and me all stare at each other.
"She just said, their practicing" I say looking at Oli
"See look! There's a baby doll right here" I say walking over and picking up a doll.
"Okay..." he says and my phone starts ringing, I grab it, it's Dean
"Hey" I say
"Hazel for gods sake help" Dean wines
"What's going on?" I ask
"Nick won't stop crying, he wants you and Oliver" he says
"Hand him the phone" I say walking over to Oli, I motion him to follow me. We walk outside
"Mommy" Nick whines into the phone, I put it on speaker
"Nick what's wrong honey" I say
"I want to be with you and daddy" he cries
"Well we're visiting Alex and Jared, we'll see you in a little while" I say and he starts crying more
"Let me see the phone" Oli says, I hand him the phone and he talks to Nick, I turn around and see Alex motioning for me to go over there, I walk over
"He can't find out!" She says quietly
"I'm not gonna tell him" I say
"Your not gonna tell me what?" Oli says behind me, I turn around
"Well I wasn't gonna tell you but now your here" I say and Alex grabs onto my arm
"I'm taking you out for dinner" I say and she relaxes
"Oh okay" he says and I smile, he smiles and I turn around
"Thank you" she says and I nod
"You better be careful what you say and do" I say and she nods
"You too" I say looking at Jared, he nods.
: later that day :
Me and Oli decided to switch phones for the day as a challenge. I put his phone in my pocket. I decided to take him out for dinner so he didn't get suspicious.
"We're gonna go out for dinner, we'll be back later" I say and Alex nods. We get into the car and drive to a restaurant. We get our food and we start eating
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom" I say and he nods, I walk to the bathroom. Oli's phone starts buzzing, I look and it's a text from one of his Jordan, one of his band mates asking if he's going on tour in a few days, I walk back to the table to see him looking at my phone making a weird face.
"Your going on tour?" I ask sitting down
"They guys where talking about it... I was gonna talk to you about it but umm why is there a text from your brother saying 'there's a case of a Wendigo near you, if you want to check it out'.... Wendigos are monsters...?" He says confusedly and my heart starts racing
"Let's go" I say quickly and put money on the table and walk quickly to the door
"Hazel what's going on, why is your brother talking about monsters" he says walking after me, I walk outside and he grabs onto my shoulder
"Hazel! Just tell me what's going on!" He says
"Fine!! My family hunts monsters okay?! A demon killed my mom and my dad trained me and my brothers since we where kids to hunt these things." I blurt out and Oli stares at me
"You probably think we're crazy and now you want to leave me. That's exactly what happened to Dean." I say
"I-I'm not gonna leave you..." He says and I look at him
"You can't tell anyone. My brothers can't even know that you know." I say and he nods slowly, we get into the car and Oli starts driving. He doesn't talk. I look down at my hands and play with my fingers. My eyes start watering as I start over thinking. He does think I'm crazy... He probably is gonna leave me... A tear drips down onto my hand, I look out the window and wipe my eyes, the car pulls over and I look at Oli
"What are you doing?" I ask trying not to make it sound like I was crying, he gets out of the car and opens my door and motions for me to go out, I get out and he puts his hands on my shoulders
"I don't think your crazy. I'm not gonna leave you. I never will." He says and I nod, he hugs me. We hug for a few minutes. He kisses the top of my head
"You okay now?" He asks and I nod, we get back into the car and drive back to Alex's house. We walk inside and we decide to all watch a movie
