After the incident with my dad, me and Jared decided to move to a new state. We- I mean I'm driving and Jared's laying in the backseat on his phone. "Umm...." He says confusedly. "What's up?" I ask. "You had kids?" He asks. My face goes red. I didn't want him to find out. "W-what?" I say. "Like 4 kids? Andy, Ronnie, Luke and Danny are the fathers of...Willow, Jaxon, Scarlet and whoever?" He asks. "Well...Um.." I say. "It's okay if you do, I don't mind." He says. "They all got adopted.." I say. "Oh.." He says and falls asleep.
*Jared's POV*
I wake up and Alex isn't in the car and I kinda freak out. I sit up and look around and I don't see her anywhere. I look behind me and see that we're at a gas station and she's inside. "For fucks sake..." I say to myself. I jump as I hear the driver door open. "Here. I got you some Mountain Dew." She says and hands me a cold bottle. "Thanks." I say yawning. "What state are we in?" I ask. "Oklahoma." She says. That's like 4-5 states from where we're going, Florida. All the way across the country. I reach into my pocket. Thank god it's still there.
:A few days later:
We get to Florida and movie into our new house. I grab the ring holder from my pocket and put it under my pillow. I get a call. (♥-Jared ○-Hazel)
♥- Hello?
○- Jared? Hi! How's the new house?
♥- It's great! Listen, can you umm... Call me back later?
○- Why? Are you guys....?
♥-Oh! No! It's just that I have a lot on my mind right now and yeah..
○- Okay. Talk to you later.
♥-Bye..
I end the call. Alex went out to go shopping and I sit on the bed and grab the ring holder. I open it and look at the ring. I hear a knock at the door and shove it under the pillow as quickly as possible.
I open the door and see Shannon. "Hey!" I say. "Nice place." He says. He lifts up my pillow and grabs the ring holder. "You getting engaged?" He asks. I shrug my shoulders. "I'm not sure yet. I haven't proposed yet." I say. He grab my hand and puts the ring holder in my hand and pats my shoulder. "You can and will do this. I know you." He says. "Thanks." I say. He leaves and Alex walks in. I hide the ring behind my back as she sets the groceries down. "What you got there?" She asks. I get down on my knee and open the ring holder and hold it up in front of me. "Alex.....Will you Marry Me?" I ask.
