Some of Oli's friends come over and they are talking and having a few beers. I am trying to plan the wedding and try to not worry about Nick. I change into some shorts and a tank-top
"Oli, I am going to be back in a bit" I say and he looks over and nods, I walk outside to the impala and start driving to the gym. I walk inside and go to the back to the punching bags. I grab a small piece of cloth and put it on my hands. I turn to the punching bag and see Scout, her knuckles are bleeding.
"Scout!" I say and she continues to punch, I grab her waist and pull her back.
"Give me your hands." I say sternly and she holds them up, they are covered in blood.
"Why didn't you where gloves?! Or at least some cloth?!" I say and she looks at the floor
"Scout.. You can tell me" I say and she looks up at me
"Ronnie dumped me.." She says and her eyes start to water up
"Scout.. It's okay.. I know how it feels to be dumped. Don't worry, I'll take you out and you'll forget it ever happened" I say and hug her, she nods. I grab some more cloth and put it on her hands, I take mine off and I walk outside with her.
"Where would you like to go?" I ask and we get into the impala. I start it
"Umm well.. We could go visit Nick" she says and I nod, I drive to the hospital and walk inside. We go to his room
"Hey Nick!" Scout says walking in
"Hey sweetie!" I say walking to his bed
"Hi Scout! hi mommy!" he says and we smile, a doctor walks in
"Nick is doing great, we will keep him here for maybe 2-3 days" he says and I nod
"Guess what I got to do!" Nick says
"What?!" Me and Scout say
"I got to eat ice cream and watch SpongeBob this morning!" He says and I open my mouth
"No way" I say and he nods
"I did!" He says and I smile
"Ma'am could I speak to you outside?" The doctor asks and I nod, he walks me into the hallway
"Nick never talks, then you come and he can't stop talking" he says and I smile
"I think you can probably take him home today" he says and I get excited
"Really?!" I say and he nods, I quickly go into the room
"Guess what" I say
"What" Nick says
"You get to come home today!" I say and he smiles
"Yay!!!" Nick says and starts jumping on the bed, I hold out my arms and he jumps over and I catch him. I kiss his head and he kisses my cheek, I smile
"Want to go see daddy?!" I say
"Yeah!!" Nick says and Scout, Nick, and me run outside and I put Nick in his car seat and me and Scout get in. I drive home
"Scout, walk inside and tell him that we have a surprise" I say and she nods, she walks inside and walks out with Oli.
"What's the surprise?" He asks and I open up the back door and Nick runs out to him and hugs him
"Daddy!" Nick says
"Nick!!" Oli says and picks him up, Nick puts his arms around Oli's neck and Oli hugs him. I smile and walk over to him, Oli kisses me.
"Hazel" Scout says and I walk over to her
"Yeah?" I say
"Why don't we all go out for ice cream then you and me can go to the mall or something while Nick is with Oli" She says and I nod, Oli looks at me and I motions for him to come. He walks over to me
"You stay with Nick, I am going to go with Scout to the mall" I say and he nods
"Let's go inside!" Oli says runs inside with Nick is his arms, me and Hazel get in and drive to the mall
