Lovesick (Mingyu)

"___," Mingyu called your name. His eyes were sparkling. You smiled.

"What's up dork?" You asked him. He secretly smiled and took his backpack off. He searched and ruffled his bag.

"I got accepted!" Mingyu burst out laughing. He handed you a piece of paper and shoved it to your face. You startled.

"No WAY!" You screamed happily.

"I know, I'm pretty awesome," Mingyu boasted and laughed. "You really got accepted in the drama?" You asked looking at him, dazed.

"Yeah, the audition was really hard, tons of males were coming just to get this spot," Mingyu babbled.

"Your spot?" You asked, confused.

"Yeah, I got to be the main character...........you're not jealous right?" Mingyu teased.

"No.....I'm not," You sighed.

"Let's go to the cafe together after school, my treat," Mingyu said. "Sure," You nodded happily.

The truth is, you were friends with Mingyu ever since you met with him. You've been hanging out with him a lot. That's when he changed. From being a really sweet and helpful guy, he became the playboy guy. He's been to busy with his career of acting. He was now a real jerk. He's just sweet because you knew that you were his last friend.

After school you met up with Mingyu and walked to the cafe together.

"Mingyu....are you happy?" You asked.

"It's my dream! Of course I'm happy! There is nothing that can make me feel better in this whole wide world other than getting accepted!" He jumped joyfully.

"Really? Good for you," You said, disappointed.

Mingyu looked at you, he was silent.

"___," Mingyu called to you slowly. "Yeah?" You looked at him back.

"You're not happy for me are you?" He asked in a serious tone. His face was still trying to smile.

"No! I'm really happy for you! It must be a miracle to you!" You said to Mingyu lying.

Mingyu laughed.

"Ok then, glad to know," Mingyu said.

An awkward silence hung in the air once again.

You knew you were sad and happy at the same time. But, You also knew not to mention that in front of Mingyu.

Because you knew your heart would start beating like crazy, when he cares for you.

He was a jerk. To you only. Because he was the only one who could make you crazy.

You knew he was sweet and caring, everything you've thought bad about him wasn't true.

You especially knew that you love him.

You stopped dead in the tracks. Reality hits you back.

Mingyu turned around, "What's wrong ___? Are you ok?" Mingyu asked slowly.

You wiped a tear and said, "Yeah, I'm fine, let's go," You said.

"But-," Mingyu stated, but got cut off.

"I SAID I'M FINE!" You screamed.

Mingyu was startled, he nodded, "L-Let's go in," Mingyu stuttered

You were already in front of the cafe. Mingyu opened the door and you stepped in, ignoring his gaze.

You both sat on the opposite side, taking  a peek at Mingyu every time and every time getting caught, you eventually sighed.
