When Magnets Attract (Seokmin x Jihoon)

"Hey, hey, did you know?"

"How can they be together, I'm the one that's supposed to be there!"

"I can't believe a boy took my spot..."

Seokmin sighed as he walked out from his car, students crowded near him. Seokmin was trapped in position he never ever wanted to have.

He clenched his fist, eyes fixing on the ground below him.

"Morning Seokmin-a," His personal assistant, Kwon Soonyoung opened the door to his room. "The news are getting hotter each day eh?" Soonyoung chuckled. Seokmin glared at him.

"Don't even think about it, you know it was false," Seokmin grumbly replied. "Plus, it's all that damn brat, Jihoon's fault."

Soonyoung grinned.

"Anyways, you have got to make a speech for the SOPA students visiting us today," Soonyoung went back to his business-like manner. "What time?" Seokmin asked, wiping his glasses. "Morning speech at 09:30," Soonyoung replied.

"Morning speech?" Seokmin asked. Soonyoung nodded. "Then there's got to be the ending speech?" Seokmin questioned. "Precisely."

Seokmin mumbled a thanks and dashed to his own class. He noticed a major part of the school had found out of the hot gossip going around. How couldn't they?

No one believes that the most active, funniest, most intelligent student of the school (aka Lee Seokmin) is dating the biggest, most grumpiest student the whole world has ever known, Lee Jihoon.

The students have were just shipping them for fun. After all, both of them look like an interesting topic for a boy x boy love. Both of their surnames are 'Lee', and they both look good standing next to each other not only for their height, but for their looks too.

What's the most interesting part are their poles. Yes, poles as in, magnet poles. They both have the complete opposite personality. Jihoon is always angry, Seokmin is always happy. Such an odd couple. It's like brains versus brawn, it's like dogs versus cats, it's like any opposing matter.

But nobody would guess that they were dating. Or so that's what the students think.

Meanwhile Seokmin is getting unhappier each day.

It all started when Jihoon had caused an injury to a student for the tenth time. Why wasn't he already kicked out of the school? Because Jihoon's mom was rich, no kidding, she would sue the school, making their reputation decrease.

As much as Seokmin wanted to kick Jihoon out, he couldn't disobey the principal.

Seokmin wiped the board aggresively. All eyes were on him. A sweat trickled down from his head.

"Thank you," Mr. Kim said in english. Seokmin nodded and went back to his seat. At the way back, he found out that Jihoon was staring at hi m with a blank expression plastered on his face. Seokmin winked.

To make fun of him. Nothing else.

"Did you just wink at Jihoon?" Seokmin's seatmate asked. "Yeah, don't misunderstand though, my only intention was to joke around with him," Seokmin replied. His seatmate eyed him and nodded awkwardly.

Seokmin sighed.

The whole class was soon filled with giggles. 'That wasn't probably the best idea' Seokmin poked his head.

-RINGGGG!!!!-

"Hey! Happy Boy!" A voice attracted Seokmin's attention. Seokmin sat straight. "Yea?" He asked. "What was that for?" Jihoon demanded an explanation. A sweat trickled down of Seokmin's face. He wiped it.

"For fun," Seokmin ended the conversation and left Jihoon alone in a daze.

Seokmin breathed out in relief when he stepped out of the class. He walked slowly, nowhere to go.

"Somi-a!" Seokmin called to one of his friends. The girl called Shin Somi smiled as she walked up to him. "IS there anything I can he;p you with?" She asked in a sweet tone?

"Nothing, I'm just bored that's all," Seokminn laughed. Somi joined.

"Hey look, that boy is looking for you again...," Somi pointed. Seokmin traced her fingers and he found Woozi calling out his name. Seokmin whispered to Somi, "I don't want anything to do with him."

"Why not? Is it because of the rumors? Come on, don't be ridiculous," Somi punched Seokmin's shoulder and left a red mark.

"He's the source of my problems," Seokmin replied, rubbing his damaged shoulder.

-PART 2-

"Maybe he really is interested to you," Somi giggled. Then she stopped. A hand covered her mouth and Somi tried to release whoever was cuffing her mouth.

"I am not," Jihoon finally released his grip so Somi could breathe. "Got it," Somi coughed.

"And Seokmin.....I have to talk to you in private," Jihoon's eyes were in the vision of death. Seokmin brushed his hands. "Later," Seokmin answered awkwardly.

"NOW!" Jihoon restated. Seokmin grunted and followed Jihoon. They both soon arrived in the school's storage, Jihoon's headquarters.

"Wow, you-you actually re-made this place?" Seokmin was dumbstruck. The unused things were placed neatly and it looked like a living room rather than a stuffy or dirty storage.

"Let's just say I had time," Jihoon blushed as his little secret was exposed.

Seokmin sat on one of the couch.

"What do you want to talk about, make it fast," Seokmin folded his hands. Jihoon sat beside him.

"Why should we make it fast?" Jihoon asked. "Because I hate you, and you already know that, plus, with the rumors going around, we'll be even more suspicious," Seokmin sighed. "Exactly," Jihoon replied, "We should stop those rumors."

"How?" Seokmin asked. "If we avoid each other, it's definitely weird right?" Jihoon started. Seokmin vigorously nodded. "Then, why don't...say, we really date?" Jihoon suggested. "are you out of your mind?" Seokmin asked.

"Don't you see? If we prove that the rumors are true, then the gossip will get old, nobody will ever think about it anymore. Cause right now, everybody is running about, filled with curiosity," Jihoon explained.

"I see your point," Seokmin said.

"So? How is it?" Woozi offered his hands. "It's a deal," Seokmin said. "But after that....let's start to be friends with each other kay? I'm tired of this battle."

"Okay."
