Seventeen One Shots

Priority (Woozi)

You're feeling super happy today, cause today was your birthday. And you were hoping a surprise from your boyfriend, Woozi.

You hurriedly took a bath and dressed up. Then, you headed towards the Pledis building.

The guards were familiar to you, they welcomed you in easily. You thanked them and headed off to the recording room.

You bet Jihoon was there, or he could be at his producing room.
You opened the door at the recording room and found the members recording. They all spotted you, but Jihoon wasn't there.

"Bumzu oppa, where is Jihoon?" You asked him. Bumzu looked towards you. "Ah, he is in his room," Bumzu said. You nodded gratefully.

"Noona, Woozi was in a bad mood, I don't think it's the time to visit him," Seungkwan said. "Yeah, he said he was busy," Seungcheol agreed.

"Oh, really, I-I see," You stammered. He was busy for what?

"But it doesn't hurt to visit him right noona? Maybe he'll get some motivation," Chan suggested. All the members looked at Chan.

"So, can I go visit him for a split second?" You asked. "Go ahead, but just don't make him angry, we're quite busy for our comeback in July," Jeonghan warned. "Thank you," You bowed.

'I wish I had a girlfriend' Mingyu said, before you closed the door.

"Jihoon-a, it's me, ___," You opened the door. Jihoon didn't listen, you guessed it was because of the big headphones he used. You tried knocking on the door several times.

"Woozi-a," You called his name. Your boyfriend looked towards you and smiled apologetically. "Ah,___, I'm sorry, I don't think I can go out for a date today, I am super busy," Woozi apologized. "No, that's not it, today's my-" You stopped. Jihoon tilted his head and went back to his work.

He doesn't care?!

You slowly tapped onto his shoulders, he shoved your hand away.

"Ouch!" You yelped. Jihoon was horrified to see what he has done wrong. "I didn't mean to, I was just so busy," Jihoon rubbed your hand that was in pain.

"I understand, I should really get going now, shouldn't I?" You forcefully smiled. Jihoon nodded slowly.

"Then, umm, at least have breakfast, I bought you burgers," You gave him the package you just bought. "Thank you, this will help," Jihoon smiled.

You walked home while tears bundled up from the tip of your eyes. Your boyfriend was too busy to even hang out with you on your special birthday.

Why can't he spare just a little bit of time to at least say a happy birthday. His mind must be filled with work, you can't blame him. That was the risk of being an idol. He has to work hard.

"I thought this was going to be special," You mumbled.

Meanwhile, at Jihoon's place....

"WOOZI! LET'S EAT!" Wonwoo called. "I'm almost done," Woozi grumbled. Then he remembered the burgers you gave him.

"I ATE ALREADY!" Woozi shouted back. "OK! WE'll BE GOING FIRST!" Mingyu shouted as a reply.

"Sheesh, bothering me on this busy day," Jihoon kicked his chair. A couple of hours later, Jihoon finished the title song, he just has to send it to Bumzu, along with the lyrics he made.

"Hyung!" Woozi opened the door. "Yeah?" Bumzu looked up to Woozi with a sleepy face. "It's 4 in the afternoon, what do you want?" Bumzu asked. "Here are the lyrics I've made and the title song," Woozi smiled to him. "Ah, ok, I'll check it out," Bumzu thanked him. "Can I go back now?" Woozi asked. "Okay, go ahead," Bumzu dismissed him.

Woozi sighed on the way back to the dorm.

"It sure is a tough day," Woozi laughed. After arriving upon his bed, he slumped down and started sleeping. He squirmed like a big fish trapped inside a small pool.

He noticed the calendar hanging on his wall.

"Today is....nothing," Woozi ignored. Then, he looked up again to see that the month he checked was wrong. He checked the exact date today just to make sure.

"Today is ___ birthday, not something big," Woozi shrugged. Then he realized something odd. "WAIT! Today is ___'s birthday?! So, She, but i-" Woozi stammered. He noticed that he completely forgotten your birthday today.

"I haven't even bought a present for her," Woozi slapped his cheeks for being such an idiot.

You were cooking for dinner when you received a call from Jihoon.

"What?" You snarled. "I'm sorry, let's go out on a date tonight. I'll be in your house in 15 minutes," Woozi said over the phone. From the tone of his voice, you knew that he really meant to say sorry.

"Okay, don't keep me waiting," You sighed. "I won't," Woozi said, then hung up.

You looked at your casual clothes you were wearing. You decided to change into a more proper one.

After changing, you heard the doorbell rang.

"Jihoon, you're all sweaty," You observed. "Yeah, I-I ran here and there," Woozi panted.

He hugged you and whispered, "Sorry for forgetting your birthday, jagi. Happy birthday." He handed you a wrapped up present and you directly opened it.

"I love it, thank you," You smiled, looking down at the present. "C'mon, let's go on a date," Woozi smiled.

You nodded happily.

Of course, Jihoon did a lot of things to make it up for you. He was definitely sorry.

At night, Jihoon cuddled up at your couch.

"Not sleeping at the dorm?" You asked him. He shook his head. "It's waayyy much more comfy here," Jihoon grinned. "Plus, it's your birthday," He added.

Then, he lightly kissed the top of your forehead and smiled lovingly.

"I will never ever forget that you are my first priority. Although, people choose work than love, I still choose you, no matter what. I love you," Woozi gave another goodnight kiss.

"I love you too," You ended.
