You looked down, not looking at people along the street. You felt very very sad today.

*Flashback*

"Why do you keep messing this up? Is it really that  hard for you to just type some words on the computer and print it out?!" Your boss slammed his hand on his desk. You bowed apologetically.

"I regret to inform you this...but you're fired!" He said. "I understand," You replied and had to left immediately. Your colleagues were all sad because you left. No more free coffees in the morning.

*end of flashback*

You stood in front of your parents door, curious of their reactions. You knocked on the door. Soon, a man in a plain white t-shirt and jeans opened it for you. You were momentarily shocked.

'Did I enter the wrong house?'  You thought.

"____?" The man asked. You were taken aback at how he knew your name. "Umm yeah....who are you and where are my parents?" you asked him.

He smiled and opened the door wider, motioning you to come in.

"I'm Soonyoung, and I'm your family's house-helper. Your parents are sleeping in the living room," He said.

You gulped, "Uhh, does that mean that my parents pay you to be here and helping the house out?"

He shook is head and while wearing an apron to start cooking, he said, "of course not, my father was debted to your parents, they were best friends and your parents really did help out in the hardships. I came here to repay his debts and take care of your family..of course, my dad dodn't force me. I volunteered."

You smiled, you felt grateful.

"But why did you volunteer?" You asked him. He laughed. "I heard there was a pretty girl."

You rolled your eyes and went in your room, sheesh, are all men flirts? You started going through any possible ways to find job applications.

"Sushi?" Soonyoung's voice appeared. "Yeah sure, thanks," You said. He nodded and sat down across you.

"What? Why aren't you leaving?" You asked him while kept munching on the heavenly piece of sushi. He looked at the stack of newspapers, magazines that you were fumbling on.

"You really do work hard, I admire you for that," He said and smiled. He stood up and gave you a card then went out the door to cook some more sushi for your parents.

You faced the floor, not because you were sad, because you were blushing. A shade of deep scarlett red on your cheeks.

"What the heck?"

You started on your search for jobs. For weeks and months you did countless interviews. Finally, you got accepted to some of the jobs, your pick.

When you got back, your whole body aches and Soonyoung would always be there to prepare the food he made. And everyday, you were captured by his kindness.

"You know, you'd make a good father," You jokingly said to him. Soonyoung laughed. "Maybe."

In the afternoon, you planned to take your parents and Soonyoung out to eat, after all, it was your first pay. You wanted to treat them.

"I think I'll stay here," Soonyoung said and washed the dishes. "What? No way, you're coming with us! We're a family," You said to him. He shook his head. "Sorry, I can't," He replied.

You didn't want to kept pestering him. "Okay then," You answered back.

Entering the restaurant, you sat and waited for the order to come. Looking around, you saw some kpop bands displayed in the TV.

"That's Seventeen isn't it?" The high school teenagers was talking beside your table. You looked at the TV and your eye caught a person that identically looked like Soonyoung.

You laughed it off, your mind was playing tricks with you.

After you went home and made sure your parents were already in a deep sleep, you approached Soonyoung.

Leaning on the kitchen desk, you faced Soonyoung who was cleaning the tables and chairs. He faced you.

"Hey...umm I saw someone that looks like you a lot, in a boyband. Imagine if you was that person, I'd make you stop working here," You laugh. Soonyoung momentarily stopped then continued. "Good thing I'm not," He said.

The silence was back.

"Soonyoung....what would you do if I told you I liked you?" You asked. He looked at you. "Uhh, I th-"

"Nevermind, it was a joke," you laughed, embarrassed  while cutting off his words. You didn't want to know his answer.

-Next Day-

"You can have a day off, you have worked so hard, we have a substitute for you. Plus, you look like you need some rest," Your boss said to you. Indeed you need that. "Thank you," You smiled to him and ran back.

You finally leaned on the sofa and dozed off. You were awoken by the sound of the door opening. "You're already here? I need to tell you someth-"

The door opened, revealing Soonyoung with make up and a mask...with stage clothes.

"Are you even Soonyoung?" You asked him. He looked like a boyband member, "Y-you lied to me...you're Hoshi?"

"I knew that sooner or later you'd knew..I never thought that it'd be this soon," He apologized. "I'll leave," He said and went out.

You ran to catch him, but it was like the world had swallowed him.

"Stay," You mumbled and tears fell down your cheeks. The days felt mepty and dry without Soonyoung.

After you collected enough money to watch Soonyoung's performance, you headed straight to his concert.

Wearing a leather jacket and hair in a bun, you entered the stadium and looked at it in awe.

'He's been living life so magnificently '  you thought.

The moment the performance started, you held up the banner with neon lights that was made by your best friend which said 'Come back, I need you '

It's worth a shot.

Towels were given to lucky fans. Soonyoung looked around. His eyes was locked into yours.

He wrote something and silently prayed, then he threw it. It landed on your lap perfectly. "You're so luckyyy," the girl sitting beside you said.

You flipped over the towel and it said.

'Wait for me back at home ' You smiled.

"You're late," You said to him. He didn't apologize, instead he gave you a warm hug. "I missed you," he whispered.

You tried to struggle free, but it was hopeless. "How did you even find me? Was it because of the banner?" You asked.

"With or without the banner...in the sea of people, I will always find you," He answered and brushed his nose with yours, acting cute.

Then he tilted his head and went for a kiss on the lips.

"What did you want to tell me before I left?" He asked after the kiss. "Y-You did a good job," You coughed. Soonyoung pouted.

"Is that it?" He asked. You gulped and looked away.

"I wasn't joking about the confession," You blushed. Soonyoung laughed and gave you a peck on the forehead. "That was what I have been waiting for."

...

"So can I stay?" He asked you. You wanted to punch him, "Yea."
