Room 143 (Jun) Part 3

You woke up the next day with your head feeling very painful. You head straight towards the kitchen and noticed that the house was too quiet. Way too quiet. 

You slightly peeked into Jun's bedroom. He was sleeping peacefully. 

You checked your phone. No calls from Vernon, which was very weird. You decided that you wouldn't bother to handle boys from today and went with a taxi instead. Of course, not being the forgetful person you are, you forgot to tell him. 

It resulted in Jun with an angry face in front of your class. 

"Hi, what's wrong?" You asked. His face shows that he was displeased. "What's up? Seriously, I thought you ran off somewhere, why didn't you tell me you were going somewhere?" Jun showered you with questions. 

I'm so sorry, I forgot to tell you," You replied. Jun just scoffed and walked away. Deep inside, you smiled. He cared. 

You tried to text Vernon since yesterday. He wouldn't reply nor did he pick up your calls. You would wonder why he would ignore you in class. What actually happened yesterday. 

"Vernon!" You caught up to him. He looked towards you and turned back. You blocked his path by spreading your arms. 

"Why are you calling me? don't you have Jun already to take care of you?" Vernon said ignorantly. "What are you talking about? It's not fair if I was the only one who doesn't know what happened last night," You shot back at him. 

He sighed. "You're right. I'm not being fair, I'm sorry. But I can't tell you what happened yesterday, because you have to ask him for yourself." 

You still couldn't understand, but since Vernon was being normal again, you were happy. 

Jun was being different. You could feel it. It was as if he had a totally different side despite his poker face. 

"Wanna grab lunch outside today?" Jun's head poked inside your room. "Y-yep," You were flustered since you just finished changing. 

You didn't know why your heart was pounding so fast and so abnormal. It was as if...no. You shook away the thought from your head. There was no possible way you could like him.

You slightly peeked towards Jun who was focused on driving. Trying so hard to make it obvious but failed. 

"Something wrong with my face?" Jun smirked as he looked at you. "No-nothing's wrong. It's absolutely fine. I mean not that kind of fine...nevermind, just drive," You said as you slapped your mouth out of embarrassment. Jun chuckled as he kept focusing on the road. 

He took you to a simple restaurant where they serve Japanese-styled cuisine. 

As he was playing with his phone while you were waiting for the food you inhaled deeply, then asked, "What happened last night?"

Jun stopped for a moment and looked at you in the eye. "Nothing much," He replied. You sulked, if you kept pestering him, he would definitely be annoyed, but you just couldn't help it. Vernon wasn't the type of person to be angry at someone for no reason. 

"I heard you had a little fight with Vernon," You continued the conversation. Jun sighed. "Yeah, well I had to, a so-called 'friend' couldn't always be trusted you know," Jun said while still typing  on his phone. 

You were very curious of the details but you didn't want to ruin the mood since he looked pretty pissed at you already by now. 

"Did....something happen to you that made you say those words?" You asked him. He put down his phone. You were scared because he looked like he was about to beat you up of the words that came out of your mouth. But he just sighed and said, 

"You're right, my ex-girlfriend cheated on me with my friend a long time ago. I can't trust girls no more."

You froze for a second. Not having clue on what to say. Jun wasn't finished talking apparently. "But maybe right now...I can start to trust you."

And that's it. That was the moment you knew you liked this bastard. 

You talked to Vernon that night. 

"Hey....I'm pretty positive I'm starting to have feelings for Jun." You spoke to him. 

At that precise moment, Jun wrapped around his arms behind you and whispered. "Then, wanna start dating?".

Your head went completely blank. You didn't know that Jun was overhearing your conversation. You were speechless and embarrassed at the same time. 

Jun then took the phone and hung up. 

"Wh-why do you want to date me? You said you couldn't trust girls," You asked feeling the adrenaline inside. "I did. I also mentioned that I'm starting to trust you, and maybe, you being my girlfriend would make my life slightly less worst."

Jun gave a slight chuckle as he left you there still speechless. He didn't not need to hear your answer because he could already tell by the look in your face.

PS: Vernon wasn't mad anymore after you bought him food. :)
