Before you guys read this....remember that this is fiction, and this is one of the most complex fanfiction I ever made. I made this not with a right state in mind, like I was so sleepy back then, but it would be a waste to throw this away. So, I really hope you like this and umm...hope you don't get confused with the plot. Happy reading~

OH and please listen to (Lauv-I like Me Better) while reading this, it's a really good song. The youtube audio is up there 👆.

"Josh, Josh, Josh, oh my gawd Joshhhh!" You happily screamed in his ear. "Yes?" Joshua asked softly, plucking the earphone out.

You plopped beside him and showed him the scores for the final test, proudly.

"I'm pretty sure I beat you," You boasted. Joshua sharpened his vision to the paper and shook his head, a worried face was casted. You wondered if he was simply acting or being serious.

"Not good," he nervously laughed. Your eyes sparkled, "Ha! That means I won, no-" You got cut off by Joshua with his simple smirk. "Not good enough to beat me."

You immediately sulked. Such a troll.

"Try harder next time young lady." Joshua said. If he was happy, he was really good at hiding it. You stood up when he heard the bell rang.

"Gotta go, I have to learn even harder to beat you. Meet me in the gate as usual, byeee!" You waved and ran to your classroom.

For the past two weeks, you went to the library studied very hard. And why the library?..... Because you got a perfect view of the basketball field and most times, Joshua was there with his friends.

"Hey ___," Your friend (Y/F/N) approached you. "Oh, hi," You awkwardly said, trying to hide the fact that you were just looking at Joshua a second ago.

(Y/F/N) sat across you and opened his book to study with you. "Chemistry huh?" He asked, observing the scattered notes. "Yup," You replied shortly and went back to studying. "You're very hardworking these days, what happened with the sudden boost?" He asked.

"Just a very tough competition with a rival," you answered. "Cute, I'm betting it's Joshua," he laughed. "Tch, it is him. Ah! can you teach me this one?" You asked, avoiding what looks like is going to be a 'Joshua' talk.

You ended the day walking home with Joshua, the rival. No matter how much you trouble or problems that came up at school, just walking home with Joshua puts you in ease.

"So, what did you do today?" Joshua asked. "I studied with (Y/F/N)," You answered shortly. Joshua gave a nod and yawned. You patted his back.

"Get a good sleep," Joshua said, stopping to make sure you entered your house. "Sure, you too. See you tomorrow," You replied, stepping in your house.

You peeked through the window to watch as Joshua walked to his place.

The next day, you walked to Joshua's classroom and saw him with his friends, laughing happily. You were reluctant to enter the class, but you did anyways.

"Joshua, can I talk with you?" You approached him, scared of his friends. Joshua's friends looked at you with disgust.

"Sure," Joshua stood up and walked with you outside. "What is it?" He asked, his tone has completely changed when he was with his friends compared to now. "Oh, umm...look at this!" You confidently said and showed him the paper.

Joshua smiled. "I think you beat me this time, congrats ____."

You gave him a big smile. "Really?" You asked excitedly. "Yes, and I'll treat you today, just like the deal," Joshua answered.

You nodded happily, but that happiness didn't last long.

As soon as Joshua said those words, he got called by a teacher and you had to walk back to your class..but one of Joshua's friends stopped you.

"Oh wow, you're that desperate to have a date with Joshua? Haha, you're like those girls that swarms over Joshua and nags him all the time. You're the annoying type huh?" He asked. "No," You coldly stared at him.

"Everyone says that, stop hanging out with him, he's been very weird since he became friends with you two months ago. Don't think you're special cause Joshua changed his tone. That's what he does to take other girls heart," Joshua's friend replied.

He lifted up your chin and smirked. "Just ignore him and choose me instead."

You shook your head, felt that pain, moreover, you felt powerless.

In a blink of an eye, you were face to face to a very angry-Joshua. You gasped as you saw Joshua's clenched fist and his friend knocked down to the floor, Joshua's eyes beamed with anger.

"DON'T F*CKING GROUP HER WITH THE OTHER GIRLS, AND KEEP THOSE FILTHY HANDS OFF HER!" Joshua shouted, making a commotion.

He grabbed your hand and made a run for it.

You were in an empty classroom, and breathed rapidly. Joshua was too.

"Joshua...a-are you okay? What happened to your usual calm?" You asked.

"Call me fake....but you're the reason I try to keep my calm." Joshua blurted out. "You..you're the one who told me I was such a gentlemen when I wasn't...., I wanted to keep that point of view you saw in me," Joshua confessed, crouching down and his head to the ground.

"Hm...is it true..that you treat me like those other girls?" You asked. "I already said I didn't, don't you even know how I acted when I'm with those girls?" Joshua replied. You could still sense anger in his voice. "No...but I have been watching you a lot lately," Your voice softened.

The tense was building up between you.

"So....how did you like it? Your fake self?" You asked. Joshua stood up and finally cracked a smile, "As opposite as you hoped....I really enjoyed my fake self, but it only appears when you're there."

You gave him a warm hug. "Sorry for making you lose a friend," You whispered. Joshua wrapped his arms around you. "He was a jerk, made fun of my fake side," Joshua answered.

"But please____, make me keep my good side. My fake side. Stay with me," Joshua finished off with giving you a kiss on the ear.

Your head couldn't bear him, it felt like it has just exploded.

"Wh-what the heck?! That's foul play, Hong Jisoo," You stuttered. Joshua released his hug and laughed. "Maybe I'll also try being a bad boy too, sounds fun don't you think?" He teased.

You were dumbfounded to see this other side of his. It was....surprisingly enjoyable.

"Sure," You challenged him. Joshua smirked. "Then be prepared, cause I'll bug you all day and night."

You grinned. "I don't even know how your true side is now. Doesn't matter tho...., I like them all." Joshua lifted you up. "That's the girl I love."

-The End-

So umm yeah.....there you go, idk if there was even a moral in this story, and the moral might not be or might be good. Well, I apologize if this wasn't what you expected or if you aren't satisfied with it. I'll come back shortly...possibly with a better one. Gotta get my inspirations up!
