You took a deep breath as you looked over at the table where you can see clearly the boy that you missed.
"Here it goes," you breathed, your whole body's muscles tensed.
Girls crowded on the table of the fanmeet. You started at Minghao, smiling at him.
"Hello, what's your name?" He asked, showing off his dimples.
"It's ___," you replied, watching as he signed the picture of him inside the photobook you brought.
The same cycle repeated for the other members, and eventually met with the boy you intended to meet. Dino, not a bias, but as a friend.
The boy who left you for his dreams.
Selfish brat.
"Annyeong, what's your name?" Dino smiled. You gulped. "It's ___," you answered. Dino nodded.
You felt odd, did he not recognize you?
Morever, how did he get so handsome in 10 years? What happened to the baby Dino that begged you everyday for letting him play with your dinosaur toys?
You sighed and thanked him, you saw a slight glimpse of recognition in his eyes.
You walked slowly back home, frustration filled every inch of your body.
You just needed for him to realize you and at least say something, but he didn't. You were more than disappointed.
"What kind of monster are you?" You mumbled to yourself.
You looked down at the album he just signed, along with the other members. A note was pasted in front of it.
'Hey, ___, it's been a while. I wanted to see you again' it was Dino's handwriting for sure. You smiled and hoped too.
You became a member of Pristin a year later and worked for Pledis.
"Hello, my name is ___, and I am the main dancer, and main rapper of Pristin," You bowed to the audience. The crowd went wild.
You smiled, thinking how you would let Dino know you like him.
But you guessed he would already know...Right?
Well, we all wouldn't know unless you try to tell him.
You started to dance and let your body groove to the beat of the music, after the show was over you sat on one of the tables in the lobby of Pledis Building. You were waiting to see Seventeen, not only Dino, but his whole squad.
You knew that Dino wasn't the boy you used to know, everybody in this world change over time. It's just you who's stuck in the past.
You laughed to yourself as you recalled the sweet memories of you and Dino, he used to whine all the time and took your stuffed teddy bear dolls, which made you cry. but in the end, he apologized.
