Chapter 9
"How did you know..." I said and looked down.
"Did you know he kept a diary?" Cody chuckled.
"No... But what has it got to do...?"
"He wrote it in there."
"Are you mad at me?" I glanced over at him and closed my eyes, before looking down.
"No, I'm not, baby." He answered, and wrapped his arms around me, from the side. "No one can help for who they like, right?"
"I don't know, I think so..." I mumbled.
He laughed. "Let's go back in. You do realize you're shivering, right?"
"No, I don't. But let's go," I said with a small smile, and grabbed his hand.
Then I felt nauseous out of the blue.
I'm not pregnant, am I?
Nah, I'm not, no...
But I haven't had my period this month... it's late...
Oh dear.
"Cody," I whispered.
"Yeah?" He answered and wrapped his arm around me.
"Never mind." I swallowed hard.
"Tell me," he said and ran his hand up and down on my sides. "before I tickle you."
I laughed and pushed his hand away, but got back to seriousness. "I think I'm...expecting again."
"WHAT?!" He practically screamed. "I'm being a daddy, for the third time," he started doing his dance again.
"I said I think!" I laughed.
"I don't care," he answered.

Please don't be a plus sign, please don't be a plus sign, please don't be a plus sign.
One more minute.
I swallowed hard and paced back and forth.
Twenty seconds.
Twenty, nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one...
What does a three line means?
I opened the door, and Angie hurriedly stood up with a smile. "How is it?"
"Mom," I paused.
"Yes, dear?"
"What does a three line mean?" I asked.
"Three lines!" She squealed. "It means you're pregnant with three kids, sweetie!"
I couldn't even stifle a laughter.
I'm in severe shock.
Then I blacked out.
