Chapter 38

"Ever wondered when I'll be going on tour again?" Cody asked me curiously. He seemed so lost when he asked me that.

"Not really...no. Why?" I asked.

"Nothing. I'm just thinking, I haven't gone on tour in years. I miss my fans a lot." He sighed and played with the scrapbook a fan mailed to him. The book was pretty. Yes, pretty.

"Well, you should ask Shawn. Maybe ask Greyson's manager either. Then the 'CS' and 'GC' would be back on stage, and touring around the world," I rolled my eyes at the slogan I created. Okay, yes, that was dumb of me, I know that.

"Good idea," Cody said. "but Greyson's pretty busy in his Asia tour recently, y'know?"

I face-pamed. Of course! God, I'm so dumb.

"Then are you willing to wait for him to be done with his tour, or are you a little bit too eager and desperate to wait?"

He turned to me with his eyebrow raised. "I'm a little bit too...yeah."

I nodded, amused by that situation. "Alrighty then, let's go find Shawn to make arrangements."

"Are you serious, man?" Shawn asked, and got excited. "Of course I'll arrange for you! Oh my God, you don't know how long I've been waiting for you to ask me that! Well, who's coming? I mean in your family?"

I helped Cody answer. He still wasn't clear of the schedules of the five of them - the children. "Well, how long will the tour last?" If it lasts for months, the kids can't go.

"Um, about...I don't know. I gotta discuss first."

I nodded. "But I'm just letting you know, if it lasts for more than a month, the five teens at home won't be able to make it, so yeah, just informing."

Shawn opened his mouth, but Cody interrupted what he was about to say.

"What? Why? Why can't they make it?"

"Well, they've got their own tours coming up next month, so..." I trailed off.

He narrowed his eyes for a second. "Oh...okay, I see. Well then, make this a one - tiring - month tour." He shook his head and raked a hand through his hair.

"Okay, well, I'll try to be persuasive towards the directors and all."

Flashback over

"Shawn's calling, Shawn's calling!" Cody yelled in a whisper. He almost pissed in his pants, just because of how anxious he was.

I laughed. "Answer it, but put it on loudspeaker!"

He did as told.

"Yo, Shawn."

"Hey, hey, Coco! So, good news and bad. Which do you wanna hear first?"

"Uh, good..."

"Well, Coco's back on tour, dude!"

"Oh, hell no! Oh, I'm gonna freak!"

Hah, Cody, you already are.

"I know! I've freaked! But the bad news...the tour's gonna last for three months. You've got to go to South and North America, to Asia, Australia and all - it's practically a worldwide tour. So...what do you think?"

"I think it's fine...but what about the kids?"

"Why don't you discuss this with Nev and the five of them?"

"Yeah, I guess, I...I will."

"Chill, man. It will work out just fine."

"Hope so, bro."

They hung up and Cody faced me.

"How are the five of them coming, then?" He asked with a pained expression. He was definitely feeling bad for the kids, because they wouldn't know how to have fun in their own tour, if they didn't go on tour with him.

The corners of my mouth curved upwards. "You know what we're gonna do?"

"We? What can I do?"

"We, are going to bring the five of them on tour with your for one month. And after one month, they're gonna fly back here to prepare for their own individual tours. And I, on the other hand, will continue with my job for a week, before flying over to the visit the four of them. Collin's not going on tour. He's either staying home, or he'll be going with either one of the rest. They were suppose to go next year, but something came up, and their managers pushed it earlier, which is the end of next month."

He thought for a while. "Oh, sure!"

"Yeah, now you, are to go and tell the kids the good news." I crossed my arms and smiled at him.

"Duh, it's my good news, of course I break my own news," he cracked a grin and ran up the stairs to the gaming room. What? The kids are in the gaming room at this time.

Oh, shit, shit.

"CALL SHAWN AFTERWARDS!" I yelled, hopefully loud enough for him to catch what I had said.

"ALRIGHT!" I laughed.
