Chapter 11

"Wait, hold on a minute, I thought I was at a hospital?" I asked with my eyebrows furrowed.

"No, I reckon that I haven't told you," Cody laughed. "We kind of have this room, in our house, that looks like a hospital ward, but it's not."

"Oh... Okay, cool, actually you did, but I forgot about it," I said with a smile and hopped off the bed.

"Babe, please don't be hyper, you're carrying three kids!" Cody cried and stressed the whole sentence out.

I laughed and rubbed my belly. "If I'm hyper now, be prepared for three more hyper kids."

Everyone left and Conner's staring at Cody and me intensely, along with Angel.

"Dad, I don't know why, but why do I feel this happy tension between you and mom?" Conner asked with his brows cocked down.

Angel remained quiet.

"Well, what do you think about having siblings?" I asked with a straight face.

"Fun!" Angel squealed.

Conner remained silent for this question, but spoke up eventually. "Fascinating, I suppose... Why?"

"Well, would you welcome three siblings?" Cody asked with a smile.

"Mom, do you have three babies in your stomach now?" Angel asked, as she climbed onto my lap.

"Yes," I nodded with a smile.

"Are they girls or boys?" She asked, with her cute big eyes glistening.

"I'm not sure, sweetie, they're too small now," I stroked her hair.

Conner had been staring at us for minutes now... then he suddenly grabbed Angel's hand, and pulled her off of me.

I was stunned at what happened.

"Conner! What?" Angel shrieked and balanced her self off of me.

"Conner, what did you just do?" Cody asked, with a calmed voice. But trust me, deep down, he was very furious. "Did you know it was dangerous, if your sister fell on the ground, head first?"

"I just need to tell her something for a moment, please, thank you," Conner said with a straight face.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "When did he learn to be this rude?"

"I don't know, baby, but right now, I'd rather we just went to check on them," Cody mumbled and stood up, intertwining his fingers with mine.

We stood outside of Conner's room, then I heard giggles.

"I mean, yeah, it would be fun, but don't you think facing three identical faces every day scares you?" Conner giggled.

"I think so!" Angel giggled as well.

"Yeah, by the way, I think I just made mom and dad mad. I should probably go and say sorry," Conner sighed.

"Should I go with you?" Angel asked.

"It's okay, Angel. Stay here. If anything goes bad, you won't have to see them anyways," Conner murmured.

I heard shuffling sounds. "It's okay, Conner! I'll go with you!"

"Fine."

The door opened and out came the twins.

Cody had a smile on his face, and I had a bigger smile on mine.

"Sorry mom, sorry dad, I should have known it was dangerous to do that to my sister," Conner lowered his head.

Cody knelt down to his level. "Hey, mate, don't do that again, got it? I gotta trust you with your future siblings, ya know?"

"Yes, sir!" Conner saluted Cody with a grin.

"Mom, can I kiss the babies goodnight?" Angel asked with a grin.

"Sure," I laughed and carried her up.

She patted my stomach and kissed them as soft as she could, then she pecked me on the cheek, before getting down, to kiss Cody's.

"Goodnight mom, goodnight dad, I love you!" Angel said with a smile and walked into her room.

"We love you too," Cody and I chorused with a smile.

"Whoa, where's the little dude?" I asked and looked around.

Cody pursed his lips in. I sense him holding back a laughter... "Conner... he wet his pants."

I cracked up.
