**Btw, Coen in this chapter is literally my dream guy**

"Spock is a strange man." Nikaniki pointed out one day at lunch. T'Mar glanced up at her friend before smiling and taking a bite of her food.

"He's not too weird. He's Vulcan. They're normally like that." T'Mar defended, looking around for Spock. She had to admit, she felt a connection to Spock. Both of them were similar biology wise, partially Vulcan and partially Human, only with different percentages.

"Hey." Coen Gordon said, taking a seat next to T'Mar. He had been her lifelong friend; one of the few people who truly accepted her as a child. He had messy tendencies, a carefree personality and appearance. Baggy red Academy clothes, surely multiple sizes too big, covered his body. The pants were held up by a tight belt, giving his legs and chest a bigger appearance. His dark semi-curly hair was more like a mop on his head, strewn in every direction. Freckles littered his cheeks, giving him a much younger look than his true age, twenty three. He was a scrawny guy, but much to a lot of peoples surprise, quite strong.

"Hey Coen." T'Mar and Nakaniki said simultaneously. Coen took his seat and set his lunch out, taking a bite already. Both T'Mar and Nakaniki stared at him, unable to continue their previous conversation.

"Did I interrupt girl stuff?" Coen asked, setting his lunch down and looking at them. Both of them slowly nodded, watching Coen's expression. He stood up to leave, but T'Mar grabbed his hand and made him stay.

"You have Professor Spock, right?" She asked, keeping a tight grip on his hand so he couldn't leave. Slightly frightened, Coen nodded and tried to wriggle his hand free from her strong grip. T'Mar refused to let go until he answered.

"Yes I do. Why?" Coen asked, finally tugging his hand back.

"What time? I need to talk to him." T'Mar said, slightly acting a little too interested.

"Class finished ten minutes ago. If you need to talk to him you better hurry." Coen answered, still frightened by T'Mar.

"I'll be back." T'Mar said, leaping up. She began to run to Spock's classroom, hoping to catch him before the next class started. Spock was still alone in his classroom, his interest caught inside of a book.

"Back again T'Mar?" He asked, not even looking up from his book. It was old style, paperback. The book was called 'The Theory of Everything' and was written by an old physicist, Stephan Hawking.

"I had a question about the Kobayshi Maru test, sir." T'Mar said, rocking on her heels and trying to glance at the book. Spock looked up, setting the book down.

"Were you disappointed in your results?" Spock asked, standing up next to her.

"No sir, well, maybe a little. Why would I loose? I took all the training and studied endlessly for days and nights. I knew the strategy, the way the test was made and set up to work. I should've passed, yet I failed at that task." T'Mar rambled, beginning to stutter at the end. Spock raised an eyebrow and stepped towards her.

"I have had many students take that test. No one can pass it. The test is made be unbeatable, the strategy so precise it's near impossible to beat. The test was made to be exponentially difficult." Spock explained, almost seeming sympathetic for T'Mar.

"With all respect, have you passed this unconquerable test?" T'Mar asked, folding her arms and squinting her eyes.

"I did not pass the Kobayashi Maru." Spock started to say, immediately being cut off by T'Mar.

"Ah ha! So you, the surprisingly arrogant and sassy Vulcan, didn't pass the Kobayashi Maru test!" She exclaimed, unfolding her arms and laughing.

"I created it. I did not pass the Kobayashi Maru test because I was the one to create it." Spock finished, diminishing the smile off of T'Mar's face. She was astounded, frozen and unable to find the words to create a comeback. "And I am not arrogant or sassy." Spock said, smirking a little. T'Mar laughed, the smile returning to her face.

"Sure Spock, sure." T'Mar sarcastically responded, to both statements. Spock just sat back down and picked up his book once more and began reading. T'Mar, now laughing, stormed off as students began to enter the classroom for their class.
