T'Mar didn't know what to do, she barely knew even what to do to think. Going to Kirk, even though he was now a friend, wouldn't work. That's what started some of this.
Colin Aaron had left StarFleet, he got expelled after breaking the rules numerous times. That was over, that torture and pain was gone.
Spock tended to ignore T'Mar for weeks. She tried to talk to him, but he just walked away. Her heart sank every time. T'Mar and Spock had such a strong bond, psychological and physical. It was over or at the very least on hold.
It's been six weeks, a month and a half, since they had began to part ways. Spock and T'Mar occasionally saw each other, but they only had small conversations before leaving for classes.
One week changed all of that. Week eight.
T'Mar woke up one morning with the sense something had happened. She didn't know what and it wasn't with her. Something felt.. Off. She couldn't tell what it was yet, but it wasn't right.
Groggy from a lack of sleep the past few weeks, T'Mar sat up in her bed. Her room was fine, nothing was moved or misplaced. That wasn't what caused the feeling.
The PADD on her nightstand would faintly glow every couple minutes with a new message. T'Mar ignored it at first, she was used to getting many messages in the morning from Coen and Nikaniki trying to cheer her up.
Like usual, she did her morning routine and got ready, finally checking the PADD. Trembling as T'Mar read the messages, tears welled in her eyes and she began to shake. The PADD slipped from her grasp and shattered to the floor.

T'Mar didn't know what to do or how to respond at all. Spock was hurt severally. He was in a coma. The one and only person she could connect to, the only one she loved in a way she didn't think she'd ever love someone, may not survive.
T'Mar may never get to hear his voice, or see his eyes, ever again. She may never get to run her hands through his hair and kiss his soft, warm lips. His sense of humor would be banished and never heard again. T'Mar would never get him to smile, one thing she planned on eventually getting him to do.
If Spock died, T'mar would never get to do that again.
