**I hate to say it without warning, but there's only one more chapter of this book left. And that's this chapter. In the future, I will do a sequel called Children of Two Worlds. Depending on how many people want a sequel. (There will probably be one anyway)
I had decided a while ago this book would be short, but I hope it's not too short. I'm NOT finishing it because I'm out of ideas, I have plenty, but when I made the plans I decided to end the book when they go to Enterprise. Therefore making the book short. But the second one longer. I will post after this chapter (in a couple months or so) when the new one will be up, probably this summer. I have one book I want to make first. Then the sequel to this.
Hope everyone enjoyed!!

"I was unconscious for one month?" Spock asked, taking a bite out of a protein bar. Doctor McCoy had prescribed he began to eat those to get his weight up. Spock was discharged from sickbay almost as soon as he woke up.

"One long hard month." T'Mar agreed, poking at a protein bar she had. She'd never been fond of them, especially since they help in weight gain. Spock needed that weight though, he lost almost 70 pounds in that month. It would've been more if he wasn't Vulcan. Plus, he was on the heavier side already for his age so nothing was too bad.

"I apologize again." Spock said, setting down the wrapper of the protein bar.

"Spock, you didn't mean to do anything it's fine. All stress is gone right now." T'Mar insisted, kissing his cheek. Spock blushed a green color, the small twitch of a smile on his lips.

"Alright.. What was in the news while I was in a coma?" Spock asked, now trying to subtly change the subject.

"Well Alaska and Russia were just measured and they're closer than they've been in hundreds of thousands of years."

"Fascinating."

"Isn't it?"

Before the awkward conversation could continue, Spock pulled her into a kiss. Spock kissed her, not the other way around.

"This whole thing has shown me how much I love you. I do love you T'Mar. And I pulled some strings and you get to work on the Enterprise with me. Yes, a ship in space in a five year mission of exploration."

T'Mar shrieked and hugged him close, almost unable to contain the extreme excitement. Startled, Spock was unnerved by her sudden burst of happiness but just ended up hugging her.

"We're gonna work together on a ship!!! A federation ship!!!!" T'Mar yelled, jumping up and running around from excitement. Sometimes she was such a child. Spock had to admit, he liked that side of her.

"Yes. We are. Please calm down before you get hurt." Spock warned, almost unable to contain a small laugh himself.

She hugged him again, the two standing forever embraced in each other's arms.

They knew each other at the academy, each was a child of two worlds. Together, they are the children of two worlds.
