**Sorry it's so late!! I am on vacation. I'll try and get another one soon. Enjoy!**
Spock was worried. T'Mar didn't come back that night.
T'Mar didn't know what to think. She kissed Kirk. James Tiberius Kirk. She even agreed to stay at his quarters, feeling safe and secure in his embrace when it should've been Spock's. He'd never want to see her again, have her live her life with Kirk.
Spock and T'Mar were never in a committed relationship, but what they had was so much different than anyone else. They had blood. Not related blood, Vulcan and human blood. Blood unlike any other; blood that created a strong bond between the two. A bond that had been broken due to T'Mar being upset.
Sure, Spock understood she was only reacting in a logical manor. Storming out was logical, but to T'Mar, sleeping with Kirk. Even though the two didn't go further than a comforting cuddle, T'Mar couldn't help but feel a painful throb of guilt in her heart.
Emotion soared deep inside and out of her, unlike Spock. She was afraid; afraid Spock would never understand due to his lack of emotion. Well, his suppressed emotions that is.
"Sleep okay?" Kirk asked, pouring himself a cup of coffee. He sipped at the dark liquid, wincing as it probably burned his tongue a little.
"I would prefer we do not talk about this." T'Mar straight up stated, crossing her arms across her chest. Kirk looked taken aback by the request, it obviously wasn't something he was used to.
"We didn't do anything every other women has done in that bedroom with me." He pointed out, motioning to his bedroom door. T'Mar rolled her eyes and grabbed her shirt. She had changed into Kirk's the night before since hers was uncomfortable.
"I don't care. I need to talk to Spock. This meant absolutely nothing. At all. Nothing." T'Mar repeated herself, hoping to get the message through to the incoherent man. Kirk nodded, either out of understanding or spite. T'Mar couldn't tell.
"Got it. Nothing. And honestly, I never wanted to pursue anything with you. Just be your friend, but the only way I know to get a girls attention is by flirting." Jim confessed, nervously running his hands through his hair and blushing.
"Well it worked. See you later James Kirk." T'Mar stated, walking out of the apartment. She began to make her way back to Spock's apartment, the now cold dry air biting at her face.
"T'Mar." Spock said, acknowledging her in front of his apartment as he left.
"Spock. I'm so sorry for last night. I never meant to snap at you, I truly didn't mean it." T'Mar apologized, only beginning her long apology. Spock raised his hand, signaling for her to stop talking.
"T'Mar. I understand this. Logically of course. I am not anyway mad or upset at you." Spock simply stated, causing tears to well into T'Mar's eyes. They began to run down her face, the heat from the wet, salty tears causing her face to burn.
"I never meant to do that. I stayed with Kirk. Nothing happened I swear on my life nothing happened." T'Mar confessed, hugging Spock, careful not to crinkle his crisp uniform.
Spock didn't hold her back.
