One Day Left

I was constantly looking at the girl beside me. I really don't have any idea that I will have her for the rest of my life. Tomorrow is the day and I am so excited.

"Don't you know that it's rude to stare?" Mataray na sabi nito.

"I'm sorry, ang ganda mo kasi" I winked at her and saw her blushed.

"Wag ka nga jan!" Sabi nito sabay irap.

"Seryoso naman ako ah?"

Good thing, may driver kami ngayon kaya't malaya ko syang i-compliment at pakiligin.

"We know each other for how many years but still, I'm not used of your compliments. Kinikilig pa rin ako" tumatawa nitong sabi.

"And I promise na araw araw mo yang maririnig simula bukas." I flashes my smile.

Sandali naman syang natahimik at nakatingin lang sakin. Parang pinag-aaralan ang bawat parte ng mukha ko.

"Don't you know that it's rude to stare?" Panggagaya ko sa sinabi nya kanila.

"Baliw! Hindi lang ak makapaniwala na ikakasal na ako sa lalaking kasing pogi mo" nakagitong sabi nito.

I reach for her hand and kissed it. This girl will be mine starting tomorrow. Yeah, tomorrow.

"Mas hindi naman aoo kakapaniwala na magkakaruon ako nang asawang kasing bait, talino, witty, sexy at kasig ganda mo. I love you so much Nicomaine" I pull her for a warm hug.

"Wow! Nakakaflattered naman! I love you, too Tisoy."

The whole ride to her condo was awesome, wala na kaming ginawa kundi pakiligin ang isat isa.

"Hey, behave mamaya sa bachelor's party mo ah! Naku lagot ka talaga sakin" banta nya and gave me a death glare.

"Hahaha, I try" biro ko.

"Ok" pikon na sabi nya kaya't lalo akong natawa.

"Sus... Joke lang po mahal kong binibini. Syempre, behave ako. Mahirap na baka di mo ako siputin bukas" then I pout.

"Whatever. Anyway, you go na. I know Daddy Bae is waiting for you"

"Ok, I'll miss you. Not text and call daw tonight eh. I love you"

"Pamahiin nga naman. I'll miss you too. Take care ok? I love you too"

I kissed her on forehead before driving off to Dad. I saw her waved at me so I smiled.

"Hey no naughty ek ek ha!" Banta ko sa mga kaibigan ko.

They are throwing me a surprise bridal shower na nakaset up dito sa condo ko.

"Shhh... Just sit back and relax" Janeeva said.

"Let's get it on!" Sigaw ni Patricia and the next thing I knew, patay na ang ilaw at nagliwanag ang party lights. May loud music din and I hope hindi namin maistorbo ang katabi kong units.

"Wohhhh!" Hiyawan nila.

"Oh my!"

Nanlaki yung mata ko sa dalawang maskoladong pumasok sa unit ko. Shit, ito na nga ba sinasabi ko eh.

"Who is the beautiful bride?" One of the asked.

Out of panick nagtago ako sa likod ng couch. Ehhhh ayaw ko sa kanila, jusko...

"She's on the back" I heard Pauleen said and everyone giggled.
