Nightfall had taken over the campsite and Brigid was sitting inside the Dropship. She was folded in one of the seats with her legs propped up on the edge of the makeshift bed and her chin firmly placed in the palm of her hand. Her eyes were fluttering shut with sleepiness, but Bellamy's sudden movement caused her to raise her head. She rubbed the tiredness from her eyes and he shot forward so he was sitting up, but he tightened his eyes shut and hissed out as the pain rushed to his head. "Not so fast, you might have a concussion. Murphy smacked you pretty hard over the head."

He ignored her, swinging his legs over the side of the bed but he paused once he couldn't find what he was looking for. Brigid pulled his jacket from beside her and tossed it over to him, he caught it with ease, finally looking up at her for the first time since he had woken up. "How long have I been out?"

She sat forward, her elbows propped up on her knees and she narrowed her eyes on him, "A couple of hours. No sign of Charlotte, Clarke, or Finn. But by the sound of Murphy's constant screams and threats, he hasn't found them."

"I should be out there," Bellamy shrugged on his jacket, standing up quickly. But Brigid followed in pursuit, pushing his chest and making him land back against the mattress effortlessly. He stared up at her, leaning back on his elbows. She stood directly in front of him, her thigh was pressed up against his knee and she could feel the warmth of his touch. She crossed her arms, taking his usual in-power pose for once. "You need to rest. You did enough today, don't ya think?"

He gave her a smug smile, leaning up on one of his elbows and reaching his other hand out towards where she was standing.  "And who's gonna keep me in bed? You?"

His hand found her waist, before his fingers wrapped around her hip as he sat up straight. She arched an eyebrow at him. Keeping her blue eyes locked on his dark ones, "What, you don't think I can handle you, Blake?"

He chuckled lightly, "Do you want to handle me?" His other hand found its way to the back of her knee, pulling her closer to him. She placed her hands on his shoulders, making him look up at her. "What are you doing?"

He furrowed his eyebrows together, his lips still pursed together smugly. She was trying desperately to ignore the fluttering feeling in her stomach, "What do you mean?"

"I mean, what are you trying to do?" She dragged out the last sentence with raised eyebrows. He opened his legs, pulling her into between them and staring up at her. Her head was clouding up with confusion, "If this is just some elaborate plan to get me to sleep with you so that you can sneak away once I'm sleeping. I'm not that kind of girl."

His hand grazed up her side, slipping under the hem of her shirt and finding her warm skin. "Then what kind of girl are you, Brigid?"

She shook her head, pulling away from him completely and taking a step back. Her heel smacked against the leg of the chair and she bit down on her bottom lip. Red hair falling into her face as she stared down at Bellamy, "I think you should just go."

He stood up and walked closer towards her, "Why do you do that? Why do you push me away?" Her eyes were neglecting to stare up into his, so he placed his thumb under her chin so she would look up. "You can trust me."

She swallowed thickly with her eyes squinted, "Can I? Because we've already had a rocky past few weeks and I don't think I can."

He nodded his head, "Why'd you stay with me then?" Her blue eyes that were so reluctant to look up at him, finally drifted up to his face. "You could have already left to find Charlotte. You could be with Miller, or Jace, or your other friends. So why stay here with me?"

"I don't know."

Bellamy nodded his head before stepping around her and walking over to the ladder. But he stopped once he opened the latch, "You misjudged my patience, princess. I have no problem waiting for that answer." He took one step down the ladder, his head still on the second floor. He looked over when he realized that she wasn't following him, "Well, are you coming or not?"
