"My friends, this is an historic Unity Day. Every year we mark the moment our ancestors of the 12 stations joined to form the Ark, but this is the last time we do so while aboard her. Next year, on the ground." Chancellor Jaha spoke over the speaker, his face lighting up the small screen outside the Dropship.
Most of the delinquents were gathered around and listening to him talk. Brigid was standing beside Miller in the front as he scoffed under his breath, "Right. After we did all the work. Someone shut him up," That gained a few laughs from the crowd.
But then Raven cut in, "You shut up, Miller. No one's forcing you to watch."
Miller rolled his eyes and Brigid laughed at him, smacking his arm as he turned away from Raven and back towards the screen. Jaha began speaking again, "For 97 years, we have eked out an existence, hoping that someday our descendants would return to Earth... "
Brigid shifted her footing to lean closer to Miller, and whispered, "You know, I would have shot him too if I had to listen to him speak so often."
"Whoo! Yeah! Monty strikes again!" Jasper came running out of his tent wearing his goggles and holding a barrel over his head. "Hey! Call this batch Unity Juice! Who's thirsty?"
He came running into the middle of the crowd and everyone was shoving their cups towards him. Brigid stepped forward but there was no way she was pushing through that crowd. "Jas! Save me some!" She shouted to him.
Once Jasper finally got over to Brigid and Miller, filling up both of their cups before moving on to Fox. Her eyes caught Bellamy walking out of his tent so she snatched Miller's cup out of his hands. His eyes grew wide but she batted her eyelashes at him, "I'll make it up to you, okay?" She nodded her head over to where Bellamy was coming from and he rolled his eyes before letting out a defeated sigh. She leaned forward, kissing his cheek.
She turned around, meeting Bellamy halfway and raising a glass for him to take. She gave him a smile, "Is it too late to take you up on that offer about a couple of drinks?"
He shook his head, taking one cup out of her hand and taking a sip of Monty's recipe. He tilted his head to the side, "Not bad. And of course that offer still stands. You sure you're up for it?"
Brigid leaned forward, only inches away from his lips, "I think it's something I could handle."
Bellamy closed the small gap between them, pressing his lips against hers in a quick movement. She wrapped her arms around his neck and let her fingers run through the back of his hair. He pulled away, a shadow of a smile still lingering on his lips.

"Ahh!" Rory shouted once she realized what she had walked over on. Bellamy was sitting against a tree with Brigid straddling his waist, and they were making out. They both pulled apart quickly once they heard the bubbly blonde next to them, "Am I interrupting something?"
Brigid rolled her eyes at her friend, "Yeah, you kind of are."
"Someone get a fire extinguisher, because this fire cracker just burnt my girlfriend," Shanks joined beside her, stumbling against the tree and holding up his cup of Unity Juice. Everyone on camp was drunk and having a good time. Even Bellamy "captain of the brooding look" Blake was finally letting loose and enjoying himself.
Brigid placed her hands on Bellamy's shoulders before standing up and placing her hands on her hips. "Shouldn't you still be... I don't know, recovering from that animal attack?"
Shanks jerked her shoulders and gave her a tilted lip pout before taking another swig of his alcohol. "I feel pretty numb right about now. The alcohol, it's soothing."
