It has been one week since one of their own were killed by the grounders. Since Wells' body was discovered outside the walls of the camp. A puncture wound in his neck, causing him to drown in his own blood. It seemed wrong that the cause of order around the camp, was a simple death of their own. But the wall was finally being built to keep unwanted enemies out of the delinquents safe haven.

Brigid was sitting outside the camp, on top of a fallen log. Everything had been so hectic for the past week and a half, she just wanted to be alone. But there were footsteps behind her, but she didn't even bother turning around. Miller was standing behind her with crossed arms, "You shouldn't be out here by yourself. Wells was killed by a grounder."

She turned her head to look at her best friend, her facial expressions never changing. She felt peaceful. Nate sat down beside her and handed her a ration of his food. She took it out of his hands but rolled her eyes, "They're going to start noticing that you're stealing rations."

He shrugged his shoulders, not caring in the slightest. "It's not like they can float me for it. Besides," She turned her head to find him with a smirk as he waved his fingers in the air, "I was always good with my hands."

She shoved his shoulder, which made him topple off of the log and landing on the ground with a thud. "Yeah, great hands which landed you in the Skybox for being caught stealing. Did you ever think that maybe you weren't as good as you thought?"

"You could ask Tanya," He jerked his head to the side nonchalantly. Which made her eyebrows raise in curiosity. Tanya had been their next-door neighbor growing up on the Ark. She was tall, blonde and beautiful. It always irritated the crap out of a younger Brigid by how infatuated Nathan was with her. But that was during her crush phase, and she would never tell him that. She was awaiting Miller's response, but he only crossed his arms and pursed his lips. She smacked his arm, "Well come on. Spit it out already."

He licked his lips slowly, like he was thinking back to the time. He was mesmerized by his own memory. "I lost my virginity to her. About a year before I got caught for stealing."

She shook her head, "You lost your virginity to Cougar Tanya?" He only laughed in response so she pushed herself off of the log and placed her hands on her hips. Her lips were curved downwards into an annoyed scowl and she wouldn't make eye contact with him. She didn't even know why it bothered her so much. "You never told me. Wait, does Bryan know?"

"Yes, Bryan knows. I wouldn't keep something like that from him. But you never liked her for god knows what reason, so I guess I just didn't want the judgment. And I always assumed we would lose it to each other, but that clearly never happened," He trailed off. Brigid felt like her mouth was sucked dry by a vacuum and her throat was scratchy. She let out a breath before he caught on, "What? Are you jealous?"

"No," She rolled her eyes, replying far too quickly and being completely obvious. And he knew that she was lying when it wasn't followed by a nudge to his arm or a smack to the back of his head. He knew Brigid way too well. Her arms were now crossed over her chest and she was staring down at a sole leaf on the ground. "Come on, who did you lose yours to?"

She looked up and bit her bottom lip, immediately wanting to change the subject that they've stumbled upon. She always thought she would lose it to Nate as well, but that certainly wasn't the case. She raked her hand through her hair, "None of your business, Nate."

"Callie," His mouth dropped open slightly but she turned around to head back towards camp. She heard his calls from behind her, but she didn't stop walking until she was through those gates and standing in front of who she was looking for. Determination flaring in her eyes.

Jace turned his head to find the redhead standing behind him and Shanks, so he turned around to face her. His dark brown eyes lit up upon seeing her and he gave her a wide crooked smile. "Hey, what's up? I think Miller was just looking for you."
