Its July 15, 1991 and Tracy was at the hospital, induced and ready to give birth.
I had no idea until her mom called and told me.

It's not that I dont care about my child, I just hate the bitch and she's nowhere on my mind. I got too much going on in my life right now and I dont have time to worry about Tracy.

I was at the studio with the crew when I got the phone call. They took me to the hospital as fast as they could. Her mom told me what room she's in but I still had to check in at the front desk. I told them who I was and they sent me to her room but Ren, Dre, and Yella had to stay in the waiting room with everybody else.

Only two people were allowed in the delivery room at a time and Tracy specified that she wanted only me and her mom in the room with her.

"You've dialated 5 cm Miss Jernagin," said the nurse. She looked at me and said "nice to meet you sir, I'm her nurse."

"I'm the child's father. Nice to meet you too."

"So are you the husband? Boyfriend?"

"No we're not together," I said.

I stepped out and went to the waiting room to get a snack from the vending machine. Ren approached me and said "we're gonna leave E. Let us know when the baby gets here."

             "Alright." I said.

Its been 6 hours and Tracy still isn't ready to push yet. I was still in the delivery room with her, waiting for my child to get here.

"Good news, you're almost there Miss Jernagin. You've dialated 8 cm. Only 2 more cm and you'll be ready to push."

Four hours later I was waken up by Tracy's mom. The date is now July 16, 1991. I did not know that I fell asleep. She had excitement in her eyes.

"What's going on?" I asked still half sleepy.

"Tracy has dialated 10cm! She's ready to push!" she said.

Tracy pushed for about 30 minutes. Next thing I know, I see her doctor, Dr. Allen, smiling and I heard a soft cry as he held my child in his arms.

          "Congratulations your daughter is here."

They wiped her off and placed her on the scale. Tracy and her mom were both crying tears of joy. Dr. Allen handed her to me.

"So what are you two going to name her?" he asked.

"I like Erin," I said "because it's close to Eric."

"So just Erin?" Tracey's mom giggled "you're not going to give her a middle name?" she asked.

            "Bria," Tracy responded.

"Erin Bria Wright. I like it," said Dr. Allen.

I kept looking at her. Like I said before, I may not get along with their mothers but I will always love my kids and I will be the best father I can be. Just because Tracy is a nut,
it doesn't mean that Erin has to suffer.

            "I love my little E.B," I said.
