-Dre's POV-

Eazy aint been the same since he started dating Aaliyah. He doesn't spend a lot of time in the studio anymore. Probably twice a week now. They been together for weeks which is good because he's been trying to get her since 1990 but he finally got her.

The end of 1991 is slowly approaching and N.W.A. is still very successful. I love working with these guys dont get me wrong but I'm not making what I should be making. I noticed this months ago. Jerry and Eazy is cheating me out of my money. I produced some dope ass tracks and I should be making more money. If they cheating me out of my money, they gotta be cheating Ren and Yella too.

Cube tried to warn us about Jerry but I was naive back then. I had to sign the contract. I got bills and I had to put a lot of money up for moms after my brother Tyree died. We're planning our next album but before we start working on it, I gotta tell E that we need to let Jerry go. I called him and asked him to meet me at the studio.

He arrived an hour later. "So what's up?" he asked. 

"Aye I know you dont want to hear this shit but before we start working on our next album, Jerry gotta go."

He raised his voice and said "is that really why you called me over here? Do you wanna know why you aint sleeping on yo auntie's couch anymore? It's because of Jerry. Do you wanna know why N.W.A. is at the top of the charts right now? Jerry. He made all this happen for us. And you just gonna turn your back on him all of a sudden, what you Cube now?"

        "Cube was right fool! E stop giving Jerry all the credit. You keep saying Jerry did this and Jerry did that. We didn't make it because of Jerry we made it because our shit is dope! We can be even more successful if we just let his ass go." 

"So you just gonna turn your back on someone who's been there for you since day one? Look at what Jerry did for you Dre," he said. 

"You mean what he did for you," I replied. Eazy looked down as if he was guilty. 

       "Look at me. Remember what you told me when Tyree died? You said that we will always be brothers no matter what. I knew that you would stick up for Jerry, that's why I came up with a plan B. I'm gonna leave Ruthless and start my own label with Suge.
I thought we was brothers man."

I knocked stacks of paper on the ground as I left the studio.
