Los Angeles, CA January 1993

It's 1993 and Aaliyah is finally induced and ready to have my baby. I know I already have a football team but having kids is a blessing. Yes I said it, I have a football team. I have another daughter and her name is Sharan. I love all of my children and I will continue to be the best father I can be.

Aaliyah's friends and family were all at the hospital and so was my fam. As far as my friends, the only ones here are Ren, Yella, Knoccout, and Dresta. That's all the support I need. They all couldn't be in the delivery room, they had to sit in the waiting area. Aaliyah got induced last night and she still isn't ready to push. Our friends and family have been up here with us ever since she was admitted and they said that they're going to stay up here until my boy gets here. That means that they spent the night up here with us, they had to sleep in the waiting room though. I appreciate all of their love and support.

Aaliyah woke up from her sleep and told the nurse that she feels funny. "I feel like I have to go to the bathroom," she said.

The nurse checked her and said that she's dialated 10cm and is ready to push. I can tell that she was nervous. I got closer to the bed and held her hand.

             "I'm so scared," she said.

"I'm right here baby. You can do it." I kissed her forehead and she began to push.

After an hour of pushing, my son is finally here. I can tell that Aaliyah had a hard time but she did it. They placed my son on the scale to weigh him after they washed him off. Someone told our folks that she finally had the baby. They walked in with balloons, cards, and teddy bears.

"He's finally here! Congrats Eric and LiLi," said Kidada.

"Thankyou for having him," I told her.

"You're welcome," she said. We named him Dominick.
